Character Birthdays

Hey there!

I just thought it'd be kinda cute if we had an option (for each character) to turn on (and modify) their birthdays!

I imagine it'd default to the date they were created, but we should be able to change the date at any time :)

Then we'd get notified whenever a character of ours has a birthday, with of course having the option to turn this feature off (per character or all).

I would like birthdays to appear on your page because... I sometimes forget birthdays, and I would like to draw a character for their birthday sometimes.

as a solution for forgetting birthdays or needing some kind of visual reminder OR wanting to see which characters have birthdays on which days, may I suggest … the birthday calendar world that I totally do not run 😨💥

but oh my gosh I would use the fuck out of something like this I love getting to see all the birthdays and the birthdays on the front page idea… incredible

+1 It's a cute idea that makes it easy to keep track. I have a question, though. Would only the user receive the notifications or would subscribed people also receive them or just the user? If it's the latter, having the option to turn the notifications on or off would be even more useful.

I hadn't thought much about that! But if people want to be notified of other character birthdays, that could also be an option! I'd say off by default but a simple check mark box or something to turn it on would be good c:
