Characters redirection, spell check?

Right now, when you click on the 'Characters' button on the main menu of a profile, you are directed to the 'Unsorted' folder of characters rather than getting an overview to see all characters regardless of the folder they're in. I can see trouble arising when I have to click on the 'View all' button every single time I want to check out a user's characters, considering most people use folders to sort their characters. I'd like to suggest changing the link for easier access.

Next to that, it seems that my browser's spell check doesn't work in any text window on Toyhou.se. English is not my first language, so the spell check is something I use very often. Is this something that can be changed by doing something myself, or is this something that has to do with the site's code? Either way, I think it's in everyone's best interest if automatic spell check works on-site.

ElithianFox My characters link goes to "all characters" because that's what I wanted, but others keep it at unsorted, because they want to feature those characters~ So I think it's only that way because the user kept it that way in their settings~ I changed it the first day I joined... but I can't seem to find the option in my settings anymore... I'll let you know if I find out how I changed it~ :)

As for the spell check, I would guess it's something on your end? As it works fine for me~ I use Firefox if that happens to matter~ (Just mentioning that it works for me in case that helps the staff at all~)

ElithianFox OH! it's in Folder management! >>http://toyhou.se/~folders/manage
you can set your default folder as ALL! :D

ElithianFox

If there are options, maybe it would be best for the default to be 'All characters' for those, like me, who are unaware of the ability to change things? Not everyone goes digging into their settings. (Thanks for linking them!)

I am using Google Chrome, maybe it's an issue that only happens on Chrome. All other sites and windows work fine, just not the Toyhou.se ones.

ElithianFox You should be able to enable spell check by right clicking on a text box and selecting the option to spell check in chrome.

ElithianFox

Turned the option off and on again, but this doesn't seem to have turned on the spell check.

ElithianFox

Nope, it still doesn't work for me in the textboxes of this site, even after turning it off and on again.

(Off-topic, how do I properly link a username into a comment like this? Gotta stop not pinging people)

TreeTale

ElithianFox All you do is put "@ USERNAME" *without the space~:)

minsu

ElithianFox Hmmm that's odd because it works for me, I'll ask Lulu about it though!

ElithianFox

minsu Thank you very much :)

minsu

ElithianFox Okay, so Lulu says that if you have the WYSIWYG turned on, spell-check won't work so that must be it!

ElithianFox

minsu Checked it out, and the spell check does indeed work when it's turned off. I can see this become an issue for people who can't constantly dig through HTML when editing pages just to have everything spelled right.
