I just want to make it clear that I would personally no longer need this feature (so no need to suggest me workarounds or remind me to put individual warnings on characters who need them, I already do so). Pretty much what it says on the tin, as always.
Right now we can put custom warnings on both individual characters and our own accounts, and that's cool... But what if only some of our folders and characters in them would require warnings? A global warming warning would be too much in my opinion, and putting a separate warning for each character could be tedious, and even feel out of place in some conditions.
My suggestion is to allow us to put warnings on folders, too! Just like the profile warnings, these would appear in both the folder itself, and the characters within it if that the first thing an user see. (In forum games for instance) Once they accepted to continue, they won't see any warnings on the characters of the folder (unless if they have a specific one).
Personally, I would really to see that added since some of my characters deal with topics that some see as sensitive (but are not inherently NSFW afaik), but these characters usually are in specific folders, not across my whole account. Putting a global, profile warning would feel to much for me since basically the other half of my account is pretty safe and rather innocent, and putting a specific warning on each character from my two "sensitive folders" would be tedious both for me and the people browsing my account. I used my own situation as an example here, but I think it could apply to a lot of other cases too, for instance if you have a specific folder for NSFW characters, or a folder for a story with potentially triggering material.

^ as much as how I think this would be pretty helpful, but I can also see how folks would use it as another “don’t steal them or I’ll break your kneecaps” “don’t offer on them pls” “*insert whole folder description*”, so I’ll personally wait untill the warnings feature isn’t used so poorly.

Honestly, I need a feature like this. My profile overall has material that can potentially trigger specific audiences, however not all of the content I publish has or deals with triggering material and some works may tackle different themes or differ in severity. If they added anything like this, that would be PERFECT for me.
I Think I've used my warnings well i've listed triggering topics, franchise age ratings ,the usual character disclamers and stuff. But I digress yeah people use the profile and character content warning wrong a lot adding to folders would be easier than doing for every single character i got 400+ Ocs i've got my Folders organised by fandoms for fandoms and for orginials it's the same but with Heros and villains.

I already use the proper warnings for images and oc profiles but I think this would be really useful for story folders! Say I have a folder for all my ocs in a certain story that contains gun violence, depression, and other triggering topics? I think it could definitely be useful.
for me and others that have ocs in stories I feel like this would work greatly. but people need to add the ones for the character still. just a folder warning would be nice to have
