Hi! I'm a big fan of the tagging system on toyhouse- I think it's really fun to go through and tag your friends' characters in pictures they're in! But there's a pretty serious loophole...
If I tag someone's OC in a picture, they are then given editing rights to the image, where they can add their own description, set their own crop, etc... But they are also allowed to delete the image from my gallery.
All they have to do is go to where the tags are, and delete my OC from the tags, and the image is completely wiped from that OC's gallery..!!
In this picture here, I have tagged a friend's OC, Haruka, and I have the ability to delete Haruka's tag from the image. Which is innocuous enough, but if I delete the tag, it removes the entire image from her gallery. And because their OC is tagged here, they have access to this on their side as well, so they are able to delete my OC Haruhi's tag as well, and completely remove the image from her gallery.
This can pave the way for a lot of people to spitefully delete images from someone's gallery without permission should their OC be tagged, or even for someone to mistakenly delete images from their gallery because they don't know that removing the tag removes the image...
If an OC has like 10 images, it should be easy enough to find out which one got deleted and replace it.... But if an OC has a lot of art, it can be a big hassle trying to track down which image was deleted so you can reupload it.
I definitely think that people should be able to delete tags if they aren't involved with the people they're tagging anymore, but they shouldn't be able to delete what's in someone else's gallery when they do so..!

This is actually really scary. I only ever tag my friends' OCs and I trust them, but accidents do happen. Definitely +1. You should only have control over your own characters' galleries.
+1 !! ive had this happen to me before with a commission i spent maybe 40-60 dollars on D: didnt even know for months because one of the characters that got deleted from the image had over 1000 images :/
Unless this was fixed recently, I'm not sure whats going on because Ive never been able to remove someone else's character from their own images that my character is tagged in.
I can only ever remove my character from the image.
I just looked at one of my characters, and I still could delete images from other characters than my own. In the photo below, I only own Phoenix, yet I could delete images from any of the characters. I have no idea why it'd be different for everyone.

I've checked a few images I have that share both my and others' characters and I am given the option to boot all of them from the images. I enjoy collecting and commissioning art for my OCs and friend's OCs, and while accidents happen, I'd rather be safe than sorry, especially since some of my characters are growing in image-count quite a bit! I even have a big group drawing I made a few years ago. I don't own some of the characters in it anymore. I still have the option to delete every character from it and assume the other owners have that option as well.
Kiwiisastalker are you viewing it from the other person's gallery, or are you viewing it from your own gallery? I'm talking about when you view the image from your own gallery, if that helps!
You are absolutely correct, I was looking on their profile because I misread your initial post.
I tested it out by uploading an image and tagging my OC and a friends OC and then asked them to delete mine.
And just like you said, it removed the image from my account even though I was the one that uploaded it.
This cant possibly be how it's suppose to work.
Kiwiisastalker Yeah it's really sketchy tbh... Supposedly there was a thread about this issue some time ago according to a reply on this thread, and the mods had said that it was functioning as normal, but I would much prefer if it was changed asdahusidhsa

As a really clumsy person whose still learning the ropes of TH some more I def wouldve done this by accident somehow
