You determine the worth by the amount you paid for a character and their art(I.e if you paid 50 bucks for a character, then that's their worth unless you buy commissions). Or they determine the worth by how much it'd be if they drew it themselves.
For example, if I spend 50 to buy a design, and then I spend 30 on a commission, their worth would be 80$.
