Need Pricing Help

Posted 3 months, 8 days ago by Ink1113

I'm struggling with pricing and wondering if I'm over or under-pricing.

Here are some examples of my work:

(AU reference sheet, Symprite, and Bantula designed by me)

Here is also my commission website (it is still under construction) https://www.pawsitivelyink.com/ you can find my current prices there.

Please give your honest feedback as it helps me gauge where I need to beĀ

hihi, without knowing anything about your process or how long your art takes you, i feel like your stuff is well priced!!

honestly i would even recommend making them a bit higher, (especially your ref sheet price as your refs seem pretty complex) but i understand it can be hard to put your prices higher :( so where theyre at now seems good

remember when considering prices to keep in mind the time it takes you, your experience, and your minimum wage!

I don't know if you're still looking for help, but your post was bumped.

  • If you're aiming for $10 /hr, then your prices are fine. Personally, I'm not a fan of having prices be too close together (half-body vs thigh-up vs full-body).

The reference sheets, however, are too low. IMO it doesn't really make sense to price them the same as a fullbody because I can easily take advantage of that, especially considering you could potentially be using custom poses.

I'd at minimum charge double for it, so $120+. Not only are you including at least one full-body (with the potential to include another for alt-fits), but you're also offering headshot expressions. This is a lot for just $50~60, especially considering how much time it takes to do.
