instagram suckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkks for artists (at least in my experience) like if you don't already have a following from somewhere else you won't see much growth just posting your drawings. i assume you already use hashtags but even then there's no more "recent" tab on Instagram so they're practically obsolete. from what I've seen, curated feeds with a specific theme do really well but it can get tiring to follow the same aesthetic for every single drawing. reels are what people are shown now so if you already do like tiktok videos on the side you can try to repost them on reels to get a bit of traction if that's what you want. i despise Instagram and left like a year ago cause it felt like a ghost town in there. i was talking to the void.
