co-owning means two or more people own a single character, both people have ownership over said character and whatever co-owning rules (if any) when owning, drawing, commissioning things of the character
(do note: co-owning characters can cause issues if ownership disputes arise, if you decide to co-own characters, I personally recommend doing so only with trusted friends or so)
