I’ve been trying to figure this out ^^
its literally just a term for like "ugly" furries/ferals thats grown more popular recently due to some nostalgia (like the designs having scene elements or otherwise ~2008s fun teenage aesthetic). its not even species, doesnt have to be a dog specifically or anything, its just that canines are the most popular with furries
