Code Help; Page Background Color

Posted 12 days, 9 hours ago by Fhaeys

Hey! I currently have my page as this : https://toyhou.se/Fhaeys but I'm trying to get it to look like https://toyhou.se/19018956.tumble-15-/20102211.user-tabs . I bought the theme from Pinky and copied and pasted the code as it was given, but as you can see, they do not look the same. How do I change the background color (of the entire page including the side bars) and where would I need to put it in the code? I'm just trying to get it to look just like the reference one but, as you can see, there's quite a bit to do. Any help appreciated!

you’d need premium (a paid service) to use the css in the bundle to make it look exactly like the preview, you can buy it in your settings -> premium

I got the premium, but it still looks the same. Is there something else I'm missing or that I'm supposed to do?

I got the background color changed! She does list the codes for the colors and such at the bottom of the tumble bundle page itself and I found the document that came with the download that specifies which color is for what, but it doesn't give me the full code that needs to be used (unless $body: #fff; is all I need to type in somewhere) and it doesn't say -where- to put each of the codes. At this point I'm just trying to figure out how to change the content box colors and where I need to put that code and same for text color! Any help in that regard is greatly appreciated and I'm thankful for the help so far!

Your CSS appears to be malformed, or rather, it looks like you're trying to use a completely different CSS than the one in the Tumble Bundle?

Are you using the CSS code that specifically came with the Tumble Bundle, or are you using a completely different CSS? Because if you're using a completely different CSS, you can't do that. The code won't work properly because the HTML is supposed to be used alongside the CSS from the same bundle; you cannot mix-and-match.

If you want to change the colours from the Tumble Bundle CSS, you only need to replace the existing variables/ hexcodes in the code with the ones listed on the Tumble Bundle page.

I was using the exact CSS that came with the Tumble Bundle! I figured it out though, I just completely redid it and it worked the second time I copied and pasted so I must've just copied something wrong the first time! tysm
