Noah was a nomad for as long as he could remember. Never able to stay in one place long, various events make him stationed to a dreamies carvan. Within, he meets a complex male by the name of Sage. Between the dangers and trials they must face, what shall become of them?

A new day, the same old routine. It had been some few weeks since the caravan had last started their travels, preoccupied with the jobs they had received over that time period everyone had just been far too busy to even consider whether or not it was time to start heading off again. Sage rarely cared how long they stayed in one place though, so long as he got to ride on top of the first trailer for the trip and things went smoothly he was satisfied.

Nothing too out of the unusual has occurred yet that day, they had yet to cross paths with anyone either although Sage doubted that would be the case for long. After all they always ended up crossing paths with someone. The dreamy lazily wondered if they would meet anyone that wanted to start a fight, he liked it when there was some action; judging from what his owner was saying while driving the trailer though he doubted it. Boooooring

"This....Looks like the group." Noah murmured to himself.

For a while, he was hoping to track down the notorious caravan.

In hushed, excited tones he was told all about their malicious deeds. Some had even warned Noah that whatever he seeked there, it wasn't worth it. Little did they know, Noah was very stubborn. Countless times, had he risked his neck for various goals, and most of them were for his own desires. It was a little ironic that, such a generous man was so selfish when it got right down to it.

For now, he waited. Still walking toward the possible direction of his target, he kept a good eye out for any unique looking groups that seemed to be traveling together.

A few hours had passed, but Noah still saw hardly anyone who looked like a commune, and he almost felt like giving up to go get dinner, but then he saw it. A small group slowly but surely coming up the path.

Yes!

Without thinking, he ran full speed toward the vision.

Thankfully, his running made him catch up to them in after a few minutes.

“I….” He huffed, hoping that someone heard him. “I heard...you needed a healer.”

The man leading the caravan raised his hand as he stopped his horses, the rest of the wagons following behind him coming to a halt at his command. A hand came to his beard as he looked down at the man, a though up expression on his face

"And just where did ya 'ere that from mmm?"

The he unexpected stop had put Sage on high alert, he remained unmoving on top of the trailer as he carefully listened in to what was going on down below. Not quite ready to give up his position in the event that something turned sour, though judging from the time of voice the stranger had he didn't think there would be any trouble made today.

What a shame, he loved it when people picked fights, it was one of the few occasions where he could have free reign on how badly he crushed his opponent. Sage always preferred the violent solution to a predicament

Slowly sliding the hood off his head, Noah took a quick gaze at the group in front of him.

Huge crowd. Just what I expected.

But the more he stood silent, the more suspcious the caravan would become, so he held his head up.

"Around. People talk, after all. And boy, do they love to talk." he slung half his cloak over his shoulder, brandishing his staff.

"But no worries, for anything that has been said has only helped bring me to you, and i assure you, you'll find no one better. I have yet to find a sickness I can't cure nor a injury I can't snap back in place."

At the second, Noah didn't feel a imminent threat so there was a chance they would believe him or at least give him a chance to proove himself.

The Caravan chief looked down at Noah as he made his proposition, thinking deeply about the offer that had been made. He stroked his beard thoughtfully and hummed as he debated whether or not it would be worth taking on this stranger. Obviously there was no threat he could possible make given the groups size and many different.....talents.

Eventually he settled on what to do, making a gruff grunt as he lowered his hand and picked up the reigns of the horses that were in charge of pulling the wooden trailer "hmm, I guess we can see what ya can do for us" the man raised two fingers to his mouth and made a sharp whistling noise before calling out "Sage! Down!"

Once the command had been made Sage snapped into action, swiftly moving upright and leaping from the top of the trailer and landing on the ground with a powerful thud right behind the other human. It wasn't exactly the kind of action that he was looking for but refusing orders was not taken to kindly

"Yes master?"

"Take this young man through the caravan, find a way to test him to see if he's as good as he says. Don't waste time"

"Yes master"

"Hmmp, good. Now get moving"

With a quick snap of the horse's reigns the trailer began to move again, resuming the movement of the entire caravan along the road it was on. Sage already had formed what kind of test he wanted to give Noah, something fun. Well at least it would be fun for him, they just needed the right trailer to pass by so they could hop onto it

"....you, what's your name"

Noah tried, but he probably failed at hiding a enormous grin.

"Yes! I finally got in! The Gods were on my side."

Since he just got in, he wanted to make a good first impression, so he followed exactly what the man in charge comanded.

but to his surprise, his guide was something that made him a bit happier than normal.

A..Dreamy!

Gosh, he had only heard of them from people, never having the chance to meet one. And here was one he would be with for quite some time.

As much as he wanted to douse him in questions, Noah held his tongue. The people of this caravan were not to be fucked around with, and he knew that. There would be time for questions later.

"Noah Adelaide."

"Noah hmmmm, alright then /Noah/ let's see what you can do"

Sage looked down at the other man as he waited for the cart he was waiting for to come closer, he knew that Thyme was always hidden away in one of the larger ones when the caravan was on the move. He removed his gaze from the human and moved towards a large blue cart with a very domestic look to it; clearly one of the carts that were used for sleeping and the like

"Follow me"

With that, Sage waited for the door to go by and stepped right up and inside of the cart. Leaving the door open for Noah to follow in suite. As he suspected, the man he was looking for was right there; he took note of the sleeping form of Thyme as he began rummaging around the room for something he could use for the test.

God he loved his job this was going to be fun
