A Forest in Despair

A green jewel of Alizar, a coastal forest Northwest of Celestion, Everstar Grove was named in homage to the queen of the Aurin herself. While scouted briefly, it went untouched by the Exile colonists that controlled the continent. Until now. With the arrival of the Gambler's Ruin and the Destiny, Queen Myala and Victor Lazarin themselves have touched down on the lands. A great promise of lush, fertile lands. And what they found was a forest plagued by rage, so much so that several Mordesh landers even went ravenous at the slightest bit of lowered vitalus reserves.

Lazarin is off ahead of the landing zones by the beach, studying an organism of interest near the center of the forest with Queen Myala. Emergency reserves of vitalus have been brought down, but among other things the landing zones still need securing from the ravenous Mordesh and the raging wildlife alike. The reasons that an Exile might be there are obvious. But Everstar Grove is also of interest to the Dominion... It may be enemy territory, but Myala and Lazarin are high priority Exile targets both in one, poorly secured location with no known permanent settlements. And more concerningly to some, the Exiles have already brought a ravenous outbreak to the lands of Nexus that can not be allowed to spread or even survive on this holy world. But they're going in largely blind, with no idea what creeping anger and pain seethes from the forest itself.

Sly - Wildstar TeaRueful

The Gambler's Ruin seemed to have a slow leak of Exiles and many ended up in Everstar Grove. Thus the place was ripe with space-brained Exiles, itching to either tumble with the Dominion or tuck tail and hide.

Both sorts were useful for Sly's purposes. New recruits wanting something to do or someone looking to forget with a fix. Sly could offer up both. Now the hitch was if any newbies had wandered into Bloodbloom Vale and if any law enforcement sort were keeping watch.

Clicking her tongue, Sly tugged sharply at the grassy mane of her equivar to get the beast to skid to a stop. Hooves sunk deep as the animal planted them to skid to a quick stop. The Aurin atop tried not to grunt as her stony mount stilled under her. "We're going to have to work on those commands" She mumbled to the equivar, giving it's neck a pat as if the curious and luminous creature could feel much any of it. Oh well, Sly wasn't going to look this free gift Equivar in the mount.

"Now, who is about to warmly welcome to Nexus?" The Aurin chirped to herself, taking the busting encampment in. The skirmishes with the Dominion nearby may have cooled, but there were plenty of scuffles to keep the camp inhabitants on their toes.
