cactina uses her power to grow a couple of small cacti, inside of a custom made pot, with decorations painted onto the sides. She puts the pot down gently, and gives a smile, "I could have just fully grown them, but what's the fun in that, now you'll have the chance to watch over these little ones".
"Is it safe to assume that you like plants?" Degare asked lightly, smiling. He couldn't blame her. Cacti were... just precious as all succulents were, and with their own uses to boot. He almost got distracted for a moment thinking of making an aloe cream, but reminded himself to focus, pausing to dig around in his coat pocket as he spoke to the hero. "I couldn't decide what to hand to you by the time I met you, but I did dabble in flower-pressing for a while..."
He took out a bookmark. As expected, walnut leaves and crocus blossoms were pressed onto the paper. He wasn't sure how interested Cactina was in reading, but... well, a bookmark was good decoration, anyways.
"..If you dislike it, you can tell me." he uttered, "Surely I can find... some plants you don't have yet in your collection."

makin' the settin' at night cause you'll never see this man waltz up to someone with gifts in the morning, full of people (he hates people but J gets vibe checked approve by him).
It was a chilly night, the lamps were lighting the night sky oh so softly, the only noise being prominent was the chattering of bystanders, birds, the leaves moving and swaying around, and cars passing by. J was just sitting on a bench by herself in the park, observing the calm and quiet scenery of the peaceful park. the, night was a bit too quite... so to speak.
A shadow suddenly appeared on the ground right in front of her, "H-huh?" she mumbled as the shadow frantically moves its location, and from the shadow just like himself the 'centipede of black' emerged out of it, carrying something behind him, "Lovely night is it not?-" Cyrus says as he chuckled at J amused at her surprised look, "-Ah, quite rude of me, no?-" his face showed a quite empathic took, and bowed down to J's presence in respect "Names King Cyrus bonifacio, but mainly only go by Cyrus, you, must be J if am not mistaken?-" he looked up to J while still bowing down to her and softly smiled at her "-Before you ask how I know you my dear-" he said as he straighten his back to look at her eye to eye "Lets just say a little birdie told me of you." He said rather coldly, his smile now twitching from irritaion, not towards J no, it irritaion from the noise of chattering "Ahh.. Sorry if I came off rather coldly, I promise you I'm not my friend, just don't like the human world as much."
The two looked at each other for awhile, Cyrus standing still whilst grasping someting tightly behind his back, his gaze moved from J to a near lake, 'Hmm..' Cyrus wondering in his mind 'This is so fuckin' embarrassing... How do I tell her this is for her.' Cyrus pondered for a moment before his gaze swiftly moved onto J once again "T-this... Is so out of character of me, but, I got these for you..." Cyrus handed J a silver locket, a bouquet of flowers and some random things he thought she would like, "Ah... Sorry again, for surpising you with my 'dramatic' entrance, that's just how I am... But hope you like them anyway! I ahh... Guessed on what things you like so, my deepest apologies if you don't like them..." Cyrus once again smiled towards J, but his smile seems more genuine, and happy, "Well, the superior of mine up in heaven doesn't like it when I come here so, goodbye my dear, hope to see you again" just like how he appeared, he vanishes back into the shadows, leaving J, alone in the park once more.
@ np; Cyrus will most likely be nicer towards you if ya don't try to touch him, unless your his husband, he would in fact kick your ass if you do touch him. (Cyrus also likes it keep the things that he was given as a gift, so ahh, do gift him anything that you seem fit).
