He turns with a sudden surprise to the voice but smiles at the compliment. “Why thank you! I must say your attire is just as lovely if not better than mine.” He chuckles fondly
Evan is open to meeting new faces and can be quiet judgemental. He can be a bit sinister though
I’m fine with all sorts of replies: romantic, horror, childish, friendly, rude, etc. But anything disrespectful to the character or any communities/races will not at all be tolerated.
(Please make sure you state somewhere what you’re comfortable with when it comes to responses, I don’t wish to make you uncomfortable)
Edit:
a bit of personality for the character for those wondering what he’s like as it’s not stated on his profile.
“Evan works at the church in his village. Though not known to most who live in his small town he has a bit of a sadistic personality. Usually cleansing people of their sins in a more violent manner. However, Evan keeps a more calm appearance to those he likes or those he doesn’t want to intimidate. His pet snake is one of most importance and claims Winter (the snake) is a familiar sent to assist him in his deeds.”
He can’t help but chuckle at the remark with a slight shake of the head. “It, for myself, has also been a while since I’ve had such an encounter. Mind if we sit and have a chat dear brethren?”
He’s not saying a word, not even blinking. He’s staring, and staring for what seems like forever. This was a dragon yes, a species of high respect within the chain of being, but they were also a demon so I’m pretty sure we can both see why he has an issue with them.
Voxel stared back at him, their tail flicking lightly on the ground before they spoke, their voice rather calm as their expression changed to one of a more neutral one. "You look like you've just seen a ghost or something, you're not blinking. I'm guessing it's because of me being both a dragon and a demon, that it, priest-man?"
he takes in a breath and bites his tongue. Restraining himself from anything foul he forces a smile. “Oh not at all! Pleasure to meet you”
He gestures a hand to his own chest, “I am high priest Evan Gold of the church of Dahlia, which is located in my small village just by the country side. May I ask the same for you?” He moves his hand to now be positioned before the fellow he now spoke to.
Voxel was already rather skeptical of him, their tail on the ground slightly perked up before they smirked a bit. "Pleasure to meet you too, priest-man. The name's Voxel, if you ever wanted to know." They were a bit weary already from still being alive, most priests they had come in contact with were simply the same, trying to get rid of Voxel before they spoke. It was somehow a surprise to Voxel that the other hadn't done that to them yet.
He takes in a breath and his hands lower more so towards his stomach. “Evan Gold,” he replies with his name.
"Ah, Evan Gold then? Still, a pleasure to meet you, even if you are you know...a priest." Voxel hesitated on the last part, their expression shifted as they spoke the last two words, it was like some sort of poison in their mouth.
