Him and all these guys used to be Danganronpa characters; removed them so because the story i have with many of the characters connecting, it was starting to distance from the DR lore / backstory so I just pulled them and now they are original Ocs :]
aw yeah 😎
show me the ocs that used to be from a specific fandom and are now their own character, or even ocs that you made for one fandom, but moved it to a different one!
laplace used to be a madness combat oc, but I really liked her design so i yoinked her
soup and bones were originally minecraft ocs! same as laplace, i liked 'em too much to keep them in the cube world forever
Sunny was a fnaf character but then I realized not every animatronic had to follow the bear so I made her her own thing
She was originally a BATIM oc- I used to be a bendy fangirl when the fandom was starting to get big- and as every bendy fangirl did back then, I made a self-insert bendy clone character specifically so I could ship her with bendy- I eventually redesigned her a few months later and she became this female pirate toon character that was supposed to a human- she was supposed to be some sort of villian for the bendy toons- like she'd try and fail to pillage different lands and would fail at stealing money from bendy and co- then a few years ago I was rewriting my main story that had her in it- and I decided to make her a normal human- and here we are now lol-
Alistair's quite funny : they're a Drawception palette oc ! There was a palette based event on the site's discord, and I liked the design I made for the halloween palette so much that they became their own character aha
I also have most of my older Ocs that were Undertale fan ocs ( Arial for exemple.... Obviously a skeleton ), but Iris Garcia, Aliyah Okonjo, Hiyo Ribo...
My oc Fuyuki Liang was a net idol love live school idol festival oc! She's now simply a weeb middle schooler in love with her mcr obsessed bandmate aha
I have lost most of these OCs ref sheets, but it's in my to-do list to either redesign them or commission them ! ❀
I think this counts but Kotant used to be heavily inspired by an object show ship I shipped (yellowface x tv) and sorta was this weird ship child of it! Though, I sorta detached him from OSC status and now he's currently living his own identity in his own story ^^
Finn's been my go-to for new fandoms, since I tend to hyperfixate on one thing at a time. Originally, he was an Overwatch OC! Since then, he's gone to Danger Days, to Warrior Cats, to Hearthstone, to the Elder Scrolls, and now he seems to have settled in Resident Evil! His Resident Evil iteration is by far the most I've delved into him, commissioned the most art of, and written for. I really hope it sticks. :]
as of posting, I still haven't finished her original-world info but Risa was a patapon FC. She ended up outliving all my other patapon OCs & the only reason she's being made "original" is because I drew her a lot with Jpeg& got attached to their friendship.
I don't even know if anyone but me and my partner knows this currently, but before she was one of my hands down Best d&d player characters, lhovi used to be a fangem. she was a lapis lazuli and one of the first gems to start showing signs of mineral depletion in homeworld soil, bc she couldn't form wings without aid. more or less ended up a casualty of war; was injured and accidentally left behind, protected by a magic box her best friend put her in. eventually found and released by a weird recluse, but she was sorta off her rocker since she's been injured and alone in a box for a few millennia. eventually she got worse and her form became glitchy; her last memory is of soaring into the ocean before cracking up and breaking completely.
i also have several former fantrolls, but still have their troll forms around, so idk if I really count them as "former" lol
