let's be more clear. it does NOT have to be an animal based on what the OC is or looks like. that'd be rather boring??? you can base it off whatever: personality, likes, dislikes, etc. let's say Alden, my OC, as a lion because of his hair color? even though he's a cat.
e.g.
Levey - wolf because of his tail??
next person can pick an animal for my OC displayed in my post.
His colours (red w some purple and a little yellow) made me think of an Eclectus parrot! (I could've gone w some sort of centipede since he's scolipede inspired, but that would be way too predictable!)
They remind me of those really pretty Andalusian horses from Spain!~ (they're distant relatives to an older species which used to be trained as 'dancers' sometimes so they sorta fit the courtestan/bard theme too)
