Title says it all! I figured this would be pretty fun?? Also this is my first game-ish(?) thread so hopefully people find this interesting?? ;;w;; Anyway, I love to think about what kind of music my OCs would listen to and I'm curious to see what music other people have their OCs like and enjoy ovo
So, yea, just post IC with what kind of music your OC likes! You can give a general answer like certain music genres or name actual music artists! Feel free to link a sample song or two if you want!

Liev likes musicians like Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks in general, Dolly Parton, and the Dixie Chicks. The writing choice to make him like those musicians started off as a joke, I thought he was boring and was considering dropping him as a character but then as a joke I decided that he should secretly be a Dolly Parton superfan and something about that made him a lot more interesting and fleshed out to me so I went from there and Liev slowly transitioned from a 2d edgy character I made as a teen to a character that feels more fleshed out not that his profile reflects that at all
ana really likes oldschool hiphop, i’m thinking ice-t, snoop dog, busta rhymes, outkast, tupac, dr dre… since she is of jamaican descent she also really likes reggae, especially french reggae (-: she doesn’t listen to a lot of genres except for those two, but she can listen to certain types of classical music when she’s studying or craving something a little less ecstatic!
my guy ichabod almost exclusively listens to abba & blondie and he WILL wake people up by playing lay all your love on me over loudspeakers at maximum volume whenever he likes
Honestly, she absolutely would be into technical death metal and death/metalcore. Stuff like Archspire, Rings of Saturn or Lorna Shore, and honestly, she would probably really be into Trivium. Some other artists I could see her being into: Evergrey, Cradle of Filth, Combichrist, Soilwork, Therion...
Probably a top hits playlist filled with the most popular pop and maybe even a mix of light rap songs. She’d probably like artists such as Rihanna, Emmenim, Ariana Grande, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, etc.
He listens to like metal/rock i guess??? I like to imagine his favourite band is System of a Down

I think edgier characters are always expected to have this edgier taste (me being the creator who is also emo does NOT help when trying to find music to beat these allegations) but mottoshi listens to more calming quiet music! lots of sad stuff but not exactly heavy or overly edgy. Think Step on Me, The Boy with the Horn in his Side, and stuff along that line! Really tryna find some music for him since I’m circling back into my metal music and more specifically my attila stage sighhhh i dont know nothin about the music mottoshi listens to because i dont listen to it LOLL
