There aren't real rules because rules shouls be clear and simple that's to all that make thread games

You just have to give the character above a nickname. Just don't make it too offenssive.

"Char" feels like it'd be a fairly alright shortening with some slightly morbid undertones (making one think of something burning which fits with some of the darker undertones) or it could be something like "Lotte" (Charlotte) or something of that sort depending on what Charlie is short for.
