What Is The Above OC's D&D Character?

Dungeons & Dragons is probably a game that very few people need an introduction to. From famous live play podcasts, to various games cribbing from it's design, to it just being a general staple of pop-culture? Chances are if you have hear the words Paladin, Warlock, or Bard in a fantasy-context you probably have directly or indirectly interacted with something dealing with D&D. Heck, you might have played it yourself. Be it a quick one-shot in a night where no one knew exactly what they were doing to multi-year epics filled with amazing tales of victories, losses, and someone seducing a dragon, probably, or perhaps you simply have a character sheet or two on standby in the event you manage to get into a game. However, while you might have a character in mind for you to play? Have you ever pondered what type of character your OC would play? Or even what others might think your character would play if they managed to get their hands on a D20? Well, on that latter point you may finally find an answer? Will people say your character seems like the type to play a lawful good fighter who rushes into battle without a second thought? Maybe they think your character would play a happy go lucky tiefling cleric? Or perhaps they think your character might play a little bit out of the dice box and roll something like a kenku warlock, a tortle monk, or an aasimar druid? Or even what type of player are they? A rules lawyer, an avid follower of the rule of cool, or perhaps they may be behind the dungeon master's screen .Well, why not post them here and see what you get?

Before you post however? If you are still confused about how posts in this thread are supposed to look? I've made a handy guide below.

Character One-Posts-
Character TwoLooking them over, between their personality and values? I think character one would probably run as a neutral good elven cleric and they seem absolutely the type to be a rules lawyer and debate with the DM over every little thing
Character ThreeCharacter two strikes me as a lawful good paladin but they don't seem really the type to follow the rules super closely. They seem more like they just want to have fun when they play.
Character FourGiven how much Character four loves things dark and edgy? I can't see anything for them aside from a chaotic evil Drow warlock. Although their rolls are terrible. Constantly getting natural 1s.

Along with that are are also some basic rules or rather just three.

  1. Keep things PG and PG-13 at most. Yeah, a character can be a bard that seduces everything they meet but we don't need details after that.
  2. Try to wait three posts before going again. Although if no one posts for 24 hours and there is only one or two characters between you and your last post? Feel free to go again.
  3. Don't cause drama. If someone breaks the rules or is being a pain? Let me know and either me or the admins, if necessary, can deal with it.

Based off of his appearance and reading into him more, I feel like he's a Lawful Evil Elven Druid. Especially with all the moon themes I get from him and the fact he wants to see his sister again

Contral Katthekit

Based off of her appearance and some of the headcannon, I'd have to say a true neutral paladin.

Adhari Foley SkywardtheDragon

Maybe a lawful neutral dwarf warlock?

With the cold connection I'm going to go with Genasi as race, as it would probably be a race Klaus could sympathise with. Air or earth seem likely. Plus, with his desire to find someone granting wishes, having a djinn in his character's background might be wish fulfillment for him.

In terms of class, probably a shaman. He likes rain, cats, creatures of all kinds and magic, and is unlikely to push towards cleric or paladin due to his reaction against his mother's religious background (although the guilt might fit that kind of background). I imagine he'd play cautiously, avoiding violence and using some more passive magics to diffuse situations where possible.

Likely Chaotic Good due to the catholic guilt and inner struggle with demons combination.

i’m really feeling protector aasimar for freddie! he is quite literally protecting the weak in the line of work that he does. i almost went tiefling but protector aasimar seems more ‘him’ to me.

similarly i think a cleric of the protection domain makes the most sense. i wanted to steer away from doctor=cleric but protection cleric is just too perfect.

he also gives me neutral good vibes!

  • Class: At first I was going to say Fighter because she uses swords, but then I saw she has magic too so that just screams Rogue to me.
  • Race: Honestly I don't know what she could be, so keeping her Human seems to be best.
  • Alignment: Well she's definitely good as far as ethics goes, as for lawfulness I'd say Neutral since, as a vigilante, by default she can't be Lawful, but she also doesn't vibe as being Chaotic to me.

Note to the person below me, Aluminum has a DnD version already so please try not to look at that tab.

Merris Occam

I'm really feeling an Artificer for this character, for the same reason she's working in an electronics store, perhaps a NG gnome?

Cashmere JadeWizard

Chaotic Neutral Gnoll or Half-Gnoll Wizard/Warlock. Looks inspired by the god of death Anubis. Focusing on attack spells and nasty status afflictions spells. Hangs out in the corner firing off bolts of death magic but often sneaks around like the rogue and thief even though they shouldn't. This character often annoys the other players but they are still a fan favorite in the party. Npcs will tell the legend of the reckless jackal for many games to come.

I find her to be a laidback roleplayer just going with the flow but her habits in life often come up in the game.

Hugo DanTheMemeMan

I could see him playing a lawful neutral Human cleric. He's just do what everyone needs to be done like healing and finding hings ect. He'd be the "do this for me bro" in the group.
