Show chars with accents and/or speech impediments!

i’ll edit this with more later, but i’ll start with him because his is most notable; he canonically has a naturally very long tongue and he cannot say the “sssssss” sound properly; usually he says it like “sh” or if he really tries it turns into “th” 

ex. “I think thish ish going to go fine.”

She has a russian accent!

Gakko rolls his r's when he talks! Not sure if it's technically an accent or not, but I usually consider it to be an accent

Additionally, Luna and Scout have Australian accents :D

Colmar canonically has a French accent (it has everything to do with the fact he's named after a place in France anyway).

Changsha has a speech impediment in which he "tawks wike dish", meaning he can't pronounce r, l, or s. Obviously this will cause a great deal of problems in communication because nobody takes him seriously, let alone his family or even his close friends.

Halifax... hm... he has a bit of an accent but I can't tell what exactly it is...

Tashkent has had a stuttering problem since he was very young after burning his mouth when learning to breathe fire.

Texas, considering which state he's named after, has a Southern Accent.

Toulouse (at least he insists) has a sort of impediment where he streeeeeettttttchhhhessss theeee sssssoooooounnnnnndddsss of the wooooooorrrrrrdddssss lliiiiiiiikkkeeee thiiisssssssss.

Chongqing often mumbles or slurs his words because of an impediment he cannot control.

Shanshan also has a stutter but it sounds more like he's having a seizure while talking, making it hard to understand what he's saying.

Flynn, Stutters and has sometimes has Heavy vioce cracks!

i dont know if this directly counts as a speech impediment but shes semiverbal! also, she has a mexican accent :)

His first language was Latin, but then he moved to the Southern United States, so he has a heavy southern accent while also speaking old English. He's incredibly hard to understand. 

I have a few characters with accents and speech impediments, but Belial is by far my favorite. :>

This guy is old. Old old. His native language was developed to be spoken in a deep, throaty growl, with a thick tongue similar to the way Russian is spoken, and his accent very much so reflects that. He has a lot of difficulty pronouncing a lot of english words and sounds - for example, he tends to draw out R's, L's, and S's, and over-pronounces T's and K's with a sort of hard clicking sound.

slightest hint of a southern accent. you can only really hear it when they pronounce their A's and T's, or when they're really passionate about something lol. think midwest emo vibes but they grew up in Texas x)

all of my characters have some accent or the other, but this guy has a hard time with bilabial consonants because his lips are shaped in a way that makes it hard to push them against each other

Omfg he was MADE for this- heavy (British?) accent when he’s particularly stressed and has Spasmodic Dysphonia as well as a constant tremor! He’s very soft-spoken cause of it, harhar
