Adding onto this: just asking for ways to come up with like rough concepts, sorry if I didn't make that clear
Recently decided to scrap the lore I've been working on for a few years (too complex/hard to manage) but I have no idea what to do with most of my characters now, especially the old main characters. Listening to music and imagining AMVs is fun but they're too vague in my head so any suggestions would be amazing ;v;
Maybe make some sort of board where you put together ideas, I've been doing that on Freeform.
If you're looking for ways to come up with them, then maybe reading articles Is a good idea.
I don’t know… you could go read other lore or some sort of media and take inspiration, much like the quote “good artists copy, great artists steal” (don’t take it quite literally lol)
Mash some tropes together, there’s probably prompts out there you can try out and see what you could get out off, mix and match stuff
I read a whole dictionary once and lots of documentaries now my brain won’t stop spewing random words to which, they sometimes make cool stuff, for some reason u get the cool ones out of the unexpected lol
