This bitch!! He's kind of traditional and practices Xingyiquan! I'm very adept at analyzing traditional Chinese martial arts having practiced Baguazhang and Wushu myself and so I began to develop this habit of making rather elaborate characters which could perform the martial arts I want to learn or expand to. Due to the limited teachers of Xingyiquan especially a specific sub version like Liu He Xingyiquan (Portrayed in DOA5 by Eliott.) He's actually a Taiwanese, who was born in Taiwan but originally coming from Nanjing /Chengdu China (his relatives I mean.)
He is good at speaking both Taiwanese Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien. (My first language in itself if Hokkien so I can relate to him much!)
His surname is a common surname--刘
And his name itself is 明強 which can mean a lot of varying things depending on how you look at it. (it is also an uncommon name but is notably known for being a pianists name and a scientist.)
Edit: his name could also be read a Lau Bin Kiong (Hokkien Variant)
