GlassApple Valley: A Poem

Come take a trip,

deep into the mountains,

where the deep rich green meets and forms a serene little valley,

nestled between the breathing mountains,

where the villagers live and thrive,

where the mayors welcome all living beings,

be they predator or prey,

all will be filled with peace,

living beneath the deep blue sky and the guiding hands of nature.

No one knows how they began,
One rose up and left,
breathing life into the places it walked,
starting small towns and cities,
Creating others of its kind in miniature form,
of all breeds and walks,
sharing it's secrets of survival,
how to hunt and share,
and how to honor it's family for they gave them life.

Soon the miniatures begot smaller forms,
starting families and spreading farther,
joining together and making more towns,
respecting the trees,
for they bear fruit,
and the earth,
for it bears crop for them to eat,
trading in only what they can spare,
and their time which they could share.

One such town,
which thrives like this,
was created by a family of great rabbits,
Deep in a valley full of light,
Glass apples flourish on through the night,
here they laid their wide roots down,
establishing a cottage and creating a town,
and to this day their family thrives,
running the town and living great lives.
