Mothcat Abilities

Abilities are a work-in-progress and will come with the upcoming lore update. 

However, here are some basic abilities that every Mothcat has: 

1. Ability to fly - Mothcats fly with a magic handicap so that their wings can support them.
2. That's it!

Eastern or Elemental Mothcats also have ONE ability that is unique to them which can range from:

1. For elemental Mothcats: Very specific (and limited) weather prediction
   
   • Example: They can predict when the sun rises/sets. 
   • Example: They can predict how long rainfall will last. 
   • Example: They can predict exactly when specific precipitation will fall on the day of the event. 
2. For Eastern Mothcats: Very specific (and limited) abilities based on their traits 
   • Example: Lakshmi brings good luck/fortune to those around her.
   • Example: Sun can change the length of his stick to whatever he pleases. 
3. For Eastern Mothcats with elemental traits: Specific and less limited ablities based on their traits 
   • Example: Xiao Yu can predict the weather within a certain radius of her location. 

Mothlions can have more powerful abilities, such as:

1. Changing the weather 
2. Controlling certain elements
3. Other things that exist on a greater and more general scale than Mothcats 

Sage, the Mothlion, is the progenitor of the species and has the ability to bless feline creatures and turn them into Mothcats/Mothlions... but only in his true form.
