Raffle Info

The Monthly Raffle is one of the ways to get free MYO slots and Trait Vouchers.   The beginning is always the 1st of every month and the deadline for all art submissions is the 20th of every month.

Prizes will be drawn between the 20th and the 29th.

Prize Tiers are unlocked by earning enough new tickets.  The New Ticket Counter, found on the ticket spreadsheet, does not count Holdover Tickets.  Prize Tiers might upgrade all prizes in the Prize Pool, or add more total prizes.

Monthly Raffles are crossposted between Toyhouse and here!  Each month will have a new Journal or TH thread.

TICKET INFO

You can get one free ticket by simply replying to the current Raffle thread.

You don't have to be a group member to have tickets in the raffle.

You can earn more tickets by completing art prompts, drawing NPCs or drawing official owls.  Official owls can be owned by you or you can open a requests thread in the Art forum.

  • If you don't win anything in a given month, all your tickets are held and will still be valid for next month's raffle.  You must reply to the check-in thread to reactivate them.
  • If you do not check-in and you have less than ten total tickets, your tickets will be wiped.  If you have more than ten, your tickets will stay deactivated until you check-in again to reactivate them.
  • If you have more than 20 tickets, any prize you earn will be one tier higher than the prize you won is, or an Unusual Voucher if the prize is a Voucher of any rarity.
  • If you have more than 40 tickets, you will automatically get a T5 MYO if the prize you won is a T1-2 MYO, or a T6 if the prize is a T3-5 MYO.  If the prize is a Voucher of any rarity, you will get either four Magical Vouchers or two Unusual Vouchers.
  • If you reach 60 tickets, you will get two T6 MYOs and one Unusual Voucher when all prizes are drawn.  This will not use up a prize from the prize pool.

PROMPTS

You can get +2 tickets for each prompt you complete!  You can complete each prompt only once per month.  The art's upload date must be between the 1st and the 20th of the current month.  There are 1-3 new prompts every month.  New Prompts will be listed here.

Art can be in any medium, including crafts, but all Prompt art is scored the same.

To have your prompt art counted, submit a thumbnail to the current Raffle Journal.

OWL ART

You can draw owls you find in the Owls to Draw folder, your own owls, or NPCs.  You cannot submit an art more than once.  The art's upload date must be between the 1st and the 20th of the current month.

There is a limit of 18 total tickets you can earn through this category each month.

Please submit a thumbnail and ticket payout to the newest Monthly Raffle Thread.

Minimum is a clean Halfbody sketch, but the art itself can be in any medium, traditional or digital.

Owl Art Payouts:

Halfbody: 1 Ticket

Fullbody: 2 Tickets

Lineart: +1 Ticket

Lineless: +1 Ticket

Colored: +1 Ticket

Fully Rendered: +2 Tickets

Minimal Background: +1 Ticket

Fully Rendered Background: +4 Ticket

  • Bases of any kind get half points, rounded down (in the case of half numbers, not whole ones)

Physical Crafts: 4+ Tickets, depending on time spent.  4 is the base payout, +1 ticket for every hour spent on the project past the first hour.  So 2 hours would be 5 tickets, 3 hours would be 6 tickets, and so on, so make sure you time yourself!  These are rounded to the closest hour.

  • These can go past the 18 ticket limit, but no other Owl Artwork will count towards the raffle for that month, so we suggest submitting them during a month you haven't done any.

A Minimal Background is any background that isn't super detailed, but you can still tell it's a scene.

If your piece is somewhere in-between a Minimal Background and a Fully Rendered Background, feel free to ask if you can get one or two extra tickets.

Other Art Info

You can commission someone to draw a prompt or an owl.  Both the artist and the buyer get full tickets, though both must check-in for their tickets to be valid.  Commissions cannot bypass the ticket limit for both people involved.

You can do art collabs too, but the tickets are only counted once, so you must decide on a ticket split beforehand.

Art Requests only get tickets for the artist.

Art made for official Art Contests also earn tickets.  Ticket Payouts and limits for contests are always listed in the official contest journal.  These tickets are not counted towards the monthly limit, but are counted towards the Prize Pool.

Event Art cannot be used for the Monthly Raffle.
