I definitely have to do this, lol.

I want to introduce Asunova to the group, but I don't know if they would be considered an employee, regular, or loiterer. Once I know this, I'll add them to the group and make their post.
Other than that, I'll be making posts in character to give a bit of information on the character and what they do in the Cornerstore. As well as if they are open for RPing with or not. This way it'll basically be an easy hub to keep up with my creatures as I slowly figure out whom I'd like to have around, lol.

If you have any ideas for Asunova, please feel free to let me know. They are basically studious and the first-aid person that's around. They don't really do a whole lot in the store, and are pretty shy and reserved, but quick to respond if things seem to get too out of hand.

Huemon Spiritburn

Meet Hue. This strange fox creature is a mischief maker. He is a frequent customer that comes in, and every time he steps through those doors, the more veteran employees offer a collective groan. It's amazing that he hasn't gotten banned, though at the same time he's not really breaking any rules and he does buy stuff when he's there. Normally just a bunch of soda that he chugs through both his mouths before he leaves (Some reports say watching this is very unsettling).

The rest of the time that he's around, though, he takes things off of the shelves and places them elsewhere. And he loves to put things in really odd places. There's one incident where the custodial mop took two weeks to be found, and it turns out he hid it in the tiles of the ceiling because he was bored that day. Pretty much, it's a bunch of minor inconveniences that lead up to hours lost trying to correct the things that he does.

Personality:

Hue is a rather playful character. He is often slinking around and quick to offer a charming smile when he's caught red-pawed. He's quick and often bounding over top of aisles or burrowing under them. Basically a playful, mischievous, fox-like troublemaker through and through that doesn't seem to have any real shame. Making minor inconveniences seems to be amusement to him.

History:

It is unclear what Hue does for a living. He never seems pressed for time, and always has money from somewhere. That or an occasional item that, oddly enough, is not cursed at the time of presenting it. Yet, somehow, about a quarter of these items reveal themselves as cursed further on down the line...

If there's a good story to tell about something that was found in an odd place, the most common culprits are either the fae or this guy. [Read the mop comment above] It's almost never any real trouble, and nothing that warrants a proper banning, but he definitely gets under some of the regular employees' skin.

That being said, he has a few different forms (the feral form is his main one, but he sometimes comes in as a furry.) There's a picture of him in the staff room of a two-headed form that is apparently not allowed to be assisted if he shows up in it. Something about how his tame nature is more warped and a missing person? It's not exactly clear.

Asunova Spiritburn

Asunova is a cute little bat creature that is rather androgynous in form. It's hard to tell if they are male, female or somewhere else on the spectrum or off the spectrum. They don't seem to mind being called anything, really. They seem to always be checking out a book or two and frequently double-checks that the enchantments are still strong and enforced. The tail seems to have a mind of its own.

Personality:

Asunova is pretty reserved over all, normally hiding close to the walls or hovering anxiously in the air. They appear quick to try and get away from most social interactions unless it's talking about a book or something they are interested in. Very much an introvert, which makes it all the more interesting they keep showing back up at the Cornerstore like they do. Shy, sweet, and timid.

The tail seems to be more eager to get involved with others, quick to nip at someone or trying to devour objects that it can get its teeth into or around.

History:

Asunova has pretty much gotten the title of an unofficial helper as they do seem to be alert to what goes on around them. When they are shopping within the store, they usually bring exact change to the counter and are reorganizing things as they go along the aisles. They can typically be heard muttering about how any creature could think that some of the items belong with the rest of the items on the shelf as they tidy things up. However, the down side to this is that the tail will not make this task the easiest on Asu and will be grabbing things from the shelves to try and eat, causing the bat to constantly fight with its own limb. This is why they normally don't make their way inside without a good reason.

Still, being close by is not a bad thing, as when things get chaotic and someone inevitably gets hurt, they are quick to step in and help take care of what needs to be taken care of. They use a first-aid kit to help bandage and patch up any injuries, but it's highly believed that this is just a prop and that the real aid comes from the bat's own magic. (Not that they seem aware of this either. As far as Nova is concerned, they have no powers)

They have a lot of free time to hang around, as if they don't have anywhere to get back to anymore. Many years ago, it seems like Asu would show up perched on a witch's shoulder, but it was never clear if they were a familiar or if the pair were just good friends. The witch hasn't shown up for a long while now, and it seems like most of the more mortal employees have no clue about this past interaction.

When Asunova isn't feeling too quiet and shy, they can be found out back, sitting down on the closed dumpster, a chair, or some stacked up boxes (depending on what's available that day) and reading to the young ones that are dropped off to not cause havoc while the adults take care of their shopping needs.

Design Notes:

Anthro Bat with a tailmouth
Sometimes the size of a normal human, and sometimes the size of a small bat or anywhere in between.
•There doesn't seem to be any real reason as to how or why their size is different.
Usually has eyes closed or hidden behind glasses because they are sensitive to light.
Can be seen with a scarf, sweater, blanket, or other cozy outfits/accessories
Almost always has a book in hand or in a cross-body satchel
