Bio

Morose (real name Morgan) Fowler is a scientist, researcher, and professor of magics, as well as the magical advisor to the king. He is an incredibly skilled mage and notoriously difficult to get along with, and only a select few people seem to like him. He has a tendency towards being condescending, even when he doesn't mean to be. His passion for studying borders on obsession, and he doesn't suffer people interrupting him. With his students he's stern, but it's undeniable that he cares for them a great deal.

Bio

Another iteration of Morose, way way further down in the timeline. After being chosen as successor to the previous God of Death, Morose is titled the new God of Death. He spends his time in complete isolation, knowing he'll never be able to keep a companion by his side. He can revive the dead, but only under certain conditions, and they never stay for long.

Bio

Several years after leaving for college, Cupid was told about bizarre and dangerous things happening in his home town - people behaving erratically, people becoming highly reclusive, a sudden surge of violence and murder, and in one instance a mass suicide at the local high school. Hearing about this, Cupid drops everything to return to the town to investigate with his childhood friends.

At one point during his investigation, Cupid is killed and made host to one of the parasites which continue the investigation as him.

Mortals and supernaturals live among eachother peacefully for the most part. Some supernaturals are suceptible to an effect, the origin of which is unknown, which makes them lose their sensibilities and become hostile. Although mortals outnumber supernaturals by a wide margin, supernaturals are stronger than mortals in every quantifiable aspect. Most notably, humans cannot kill supernaturals.

After getting his hands on a reapers weapon, the only thing that can kill supernaturals, Lex starts to make a living as the only mercenary capable of killing supernaturals. It's really easy to be at the top of your field when you're the only one in it.

Generations ago a curse was laid on the Beaumont family, the curse caused black marks to appear on their bodies indicating how they would die. When Adelaide's mark appeared as a single black line going down the center of her body her family sequestered her away in futile hope to protect her from whatever grim end fate had in store for her. Now that she's an adult, she's beginning to leave her home and explore the world.

A witch with a natural afinity for magic that rivals that of the Ancient Grandmasters. Magic is an incredibly difficult skill to learn, and it can take mages their entire lives just to master the basics; Adonia had to face no such obstacle. From a very young age she had an unnatural grasp of magic. Even she herself doesn't understand how it happened, but she claims she doesn't look the gift horse in the mouth.

Bio

M4-YU (colloquially known as "Mayumayu") was an entertainment robot designed to be the headliner of Madame Elene's Fortuna Cirque - an all robot circus. Eventually their troupe became outdated and their friends started to break down. When they were delivering one of their broken down troupes back to their parent company to be discarded, they overheard two executives talking about scrapping them for parts.

Mayumayu flees the country without sending word to their parent company, and now has to fight to repair themselves with incompatible parts from other robots.

Bio

Before Nes was born, their soul was used as a bargaining chip by their mother during her petition for power from Leon. She agreed to exchange her first born for magic. When they were born, Leon grew so attatched to them that he couldn't bring himself to send their soul to the afterlife.

Leon the Tempter of the third circle of hell is a deal making demon. He creates contracts with mortals, offering various boons such as power and wealth in exchange for their or others' souls. While he'd been a successful deal maker for centuries, he's recently gotten a demotion after going to collect the soul of his contracts' first born child and finding himself unable to send them off to the afterlife. He now takes the role of a sentry in the small town of Iriscreek, where the veil is thin and the supernatural regularly run amok.
