 Terms of Service

By owning a PALS design created by labratory , you automatically agree to these terms!
If you need me to edit permissions on a design, reach out by either messaging labratory or commenting below.

General

• All payment is through PayPal, USD! This is either by link, invoice or email.
• Raffles are Patreon exclusive, winners can either keep or sale the design for whatever price.
• CSS NOT INCLUDED / HTML INCLUDED.
• If the design is purchased for a large-scale project that will generate revenue and be a part of a studio, I may request an additional commercial fee and/or royalties.
• Holds are allowed within the duration of a week, however, this can be negotiated depending on if the bid is over $100. If you are unsure of meeting the expected timeframe, please message me beforehand!
• An offer is typically selected after/within 3 days, 24 hours after the last bid.
• For clients who have commissioned a design: if the design is not to your liking even after various of revisions, you get refunded the total cost. I then keep the design to sell in order to remake profit.

Ownership

• You can change species, gender, name, colors, markings as freely as you want. All my designs are genderless by default! They do not have to stay “plush like”.
• I do not mind edits on my original artwork of the design, permission not required.
• You cannot claim the original design as your own work. You can take credit for edits you have made, or crediting us as both as equal designers if enough change have been made. 
• All sales are final, I do not do refunds - if you no longer want a design, resell it or trade it!
• You are not allowed to redistribute the HTML code the character comes with anywhere else, as it is a private code only buyers receive. You are not allowed to use this code for other characters that aren't pals, the code is also entirely optional!
• Co-ownership is allowed, however, I do not settle any possible future ownership disputes. I would advise keeping one profile since artwork can be uploaded to a character profile from other users, creating an additional profile for them is also allowed (just keep in mind one of them would have to be deleted if the character happens to be traded or sold in the future to avoid any confusion).
  
• Unless commissioned work has been attached, there is no reason for an individual to sell a character more than what it was purchased for (exceptions being for emergencies only). Value of the character can rise on how much money you’ve put into them of course, but be wary of different artists TOS.

Bidding

• Retract your offer by editing your comment, instead of ignoring or deleting it on behalf of the bidder before you (this can confuse or mess up a thread chain).
• Do not offer any money if you don't actually have the funds to pay. 
• You have 24 hours after I accept your offer to pay. If the timeframe is not met then the design will be going back up for offers.
• Patrons occasionally receive discounted autobuy offers & first dibs.
• You can message me to place an anonymous bid, however, it is your responsibility to regularly check the bids and to apply a new offer each time.
