Greetings, adventurer! Welcome to The Tavern!

Heya, I'm pixelcloud, but you can call me either Pixel or my other alias, "Courage!" This is my first forum game! I hope we can all have a good time!

Basically, you'll be participating in an open roleplay that ALWAYS starts with... "(Insert your OC's name) walks into a tavern."

This is a special, interdimensional tavern that connects the universes of every OC!

Your goal is to walk INTO this tavern as your OC and interact with the other OCs in the tavern! Connect over various similarities and interests? Or perhaps try to figure out how you got into the tavern in the first place?

As a final rule, remember-- don't be mean, and have fun!

I''ll make my first post below!

Yuma walks into a tavern!

The 16 year old dream deity pushes open the large, heavy, antique doors slowly, having to use a considerable amount of effort. How did I get here? He thought to himself. He had only tried to enter a dream portal, and had suddenly ended up here. Maybe he accidentally wandered into some other dimension. Nevertheless, it seemed to be a tavern, a place where humans had historically gone to obtain drinks and talk... For some reason, there was a drink machine at the back. Yuma walked up to it, and suddenly, a button appeared that said "Apple Juice." How did it know the very thing he currently craved?! With not a trace of even the WORD "alcohol" on his mind, the innocent deity proceeded to dispense three cups of apple juice from the machine, then, oblivious to the strangeness of the situation, sat down at an empty table and began drinking it with a swirly straw.

Fluer Katthekit

hunnitea , since he is somewhat interacting with Skunk...

Fluer enters the tavern.

Fluer had just happened upon this "Interdimensional" tavern, jumping up onto one of the stools. He respectfully nods at the other, and orders a swig of beer. He hadn't had a drink in a while, and he needed something to crave his thirst.

Taking a sip, he perks up, sliding it away from him. He shakes his of a body in a disapproving manner, as he disliked the taste.

He slides his wallet onto the table and asks for a milkshake.

Yuma finishes his THREE GLASSES of apple juice, then notices two others have entered the interdimensional tavern. There's someone with black and white hair, who he smiles at. "Hi!" he says in a cheery manner despite the confusion of being teleported to a random, almost empty tavern. He bounces around before noticing Fluer. "AHHHH cute!" He pets the small knight innocently on the head. He turns to the person with the black and white hair and smiles, still petting Fluer. "Is he yours?" He asks, unaware that the small warrior is not a pet.

The knight looks unamused and somewhat annoyed, trying to move away from the deity's hand. "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to stop."

His milkshake slides to him over the counter, him losing his serious look, now turning into a cheerful look as he grabs it.

"Oh, okay..." Yuma says. The sugar from the apple juice seems to be already wearing off. He leaves Fluer to his milkshake and smiles at Skunk. "Thanks! I always bring a handful of handy items with me in case I need em. You never know when you need a straw!" the eccentric deity said cheerily.

Yuma smiled upon hearing Skunk's question. "Well, it's actually thanks to these feathers!" He said, pointing to the four feathers on his necklace. "Being a dream deity, I can enter dreams. Anything that I see and remember from people's dreams can be temporarily replicated from these feathers so that I can put it in someone else's dream if I need to! Red for living things, yellow for imaginary things, blue for nonliving things, purple for magic... But they do come in handy for me, too! This one kid was dreaming about swirly straws he saw being sold at a waterpark..."

Fluer finishes off his milkshake and slides it to the side. For an old guy, he loves his sweets. He slides it back to whatever is behind the counter, opening up his wallet, and pulling a few dollars out, which had been sitting on the table for quite a while. After a while, he seems to calm himself. A few pictures of him and his granddaughter adorn his wallet.

"No, no, i've got my own drink." He smiles, insisting that he pays for it. He already had the money out of his wallet.

(Sorry if I'm off for the next 3 days :/)

Blair Aarix

Blair walks into the tavern.

This is not… exactly the kind of establishment he’d thought it’d be, as he looks around, and realises there’s nobody in here but a lone woman at the bar, some tiny round creature, and someone who’s clearly a child.

Blair wrinkles his nose a bit, but decides to persevere on account of really wanting a drink. He lurks his way to the bar, and sits down on a stool, leaving one between himself and Skunk. Is she a kid too? Far out, what the hell kind of place has he stepped into?

“Bloody quiet in here for a Saturday night,” he mutters, apparently to himself, but it’s plenty loud enough for Skunk and Fluer to hear. He calls the bartender over with a brash hail, and orders a pint of the least-horrifically-overpriced beer they’re selling. Apparently the bartender’s having none of his haggling, either. At least they actually sell booze, he was starting to dread he'd have to be sober for the next couple of hours.

He doesn't hesitate to get into the first few mouthfuls. It’s less miserable than the beer he’s accustomed to, but that’s not exactly saying much, and the feeling of being ripped off has definitely not helped to improve his spirits. He sighs as he sets the glass down, and rakes his eyes around the room, trying to get his bearings in this strange place, apparently having little better to do with his time. No music, no nothing. There didn't even seem to be any ashtrays to steal, which really freaked him out. This place was absolutely going to be getting a 1-star review on Interdimensional Yelp when Blair was done here.

Yuma paused for a bit, feeling kind of tired. His mind started to drift off. He was supposed to being doing his job now, right? Was it almost sundown? He stared off into space, his eyes landing on Blair (even though he wasn't even focusing on him, considering he was staring into space.)

 Dain Aarix

(ooc: yo pixelcloud can I bring in another boy? if not I'll get rid of one of them ;p )

Dain walks into the tavern.

Well, “walks” is a pretty graceful term for it. Really, he’s just barrelled headlong into the doors, taking a few little chunks out of them with his energy claws in the process, his holographic wings screaming against the air. He’s breathing hard as he flattens himself against a wall and looks around frantically. Once he’s relatively certain nobody in here immediately wants to kill him, he lets his holograms flicker out—the harsh, buzzing cyan of his wings and claws is gone. He takes a deep breath, and a few, tentative steps towards the bar and its current patrons.

“Hi,” he says. “Sorry. Um.” He glances over everyone in the awkward silence that settled in immediately after his dramatic entry, desperately attempting to make eye-contact. He’s obviously very tense, and his tone implies a fair deal of urgency, “Really sorry to bother you guys, but… does anyone here know what star-system we’re in right now?”

He glances over his shoulder, and realises he’s scorched a few clawmarks in the heavy wooden doors. He cringes a little. “And… ah, I’m sorry about your door, I can… probably pay damages.”
