unpopular opinion game

Posted 3 years, 11 months ago by pepperfr3sh

so uh theres one of these on cs and i havent seen anything like it on here yet so uh,, here! (please lmk if one of these is already existent and i'll close this one qwq)

heres how it works! one person states an unpopular opinion of theirs, and then the next person agrees with it, or disagrees, then states their unpopular opinion!

example:

Person A: mac and cheese and ketchup r good together

Person B: Disagree. cats are better than dogs

I hope this makes sense qwq;

rules:

- Nothing nsfw!! lets try n keep it pg 13 here

- No hate or being disrespectful, please.

- dont spam post!! make sure at least 3 people have posted after you before you post again!

- please do not state any opinions that could be seen as possibly offensive!! this is a light hearted fun lil game,,,,

and thats it! have fun!!

Aloewing

Cheese isn’t actually that good. I can’t stand sharp cheddar and gouda. And most others i can live without.

PSYCHOGRAM

agreed! im only okay with simple grated Cheddar cheese (not melted) anything else isn’t my thing

_______

apparently liking tuna and vinegar together is unpopular?

MeowMeow422

Never had that combo before so not sure. But considering both are sour(?)

It might not be best for Meow.

Apparently, when a person does a bad thing, they instantly have no good qualities. A bad person can still be admired for their virtues, and a good person can still be hated for their sins.

Every saint had a past and every sinner has a future. One (small) action or word should not automaticaly dictate who they are as a person

Pimn

I mean yeah I guess people can do both good and bad things, nothing is black and white. People who are overall shitty can do the occasional good deed and people who are overall nice can do shitty things sometimes. I wouldn't go so far as admiring a bad person just because they did one good thing though, or hating a good one because they did one bad thing. I believe we should condemn bad actions, and reward good ones. It's about helping others improve and become better people, not judging them as good or bad.

Basic standing poses are harder to draw than crazy insane action/dynamic poses. I will die on this hill.

vv But with dynamic poses it's easier to capture GESTURE!! which is essential to your pose!! I feel basic standing poses tend to come out too stiff for me, and I can never capture the proportions quite right.

i get you. i can taste the difference in them tbh. and like how addicting american sugars are esp. its insane

old school memes are the best memes

HardyLark

Agree, I still giggle at some of them. (Honestly, I have many thoughts on how the internet culture has affected memes into bringing jokes that are only relevant to a select few communities and internet niches that it's really hard to stay in the loop anymore, and oftentimes you'll encounter things that no longer make sense to your experience. Tis interesting stuff haha)

I think regressive character development (like where a character becomes a worse person or fails etc) is actually really interesting and is underutilized in a lot of mainstream storytelling.

I agree, they're interesting in a quiet way -- and can be really pretty to watch.

Poetry does not have to follow any sort of structure (by far at least), it can be made of almost anything I think iconographically?

Nuclear-Hydrangea

I agree with that, the whole core of poetry is expression and symbolism. Regardless of structure, it doesn't change how the poem's message

I find "boring", mundane, slice of life-ish characters more interesting than high social class/status, powerful, god-like, or overpowered OCs. Plus points if mundane/slice of life aspect is applied in a sci fi or fantasy story/character. I just find it more relatable and connected with kind of characters by going more to their everyday lives.

springymint

I agree! As long as said mundane character's personality isn't just "some kind dude". I really strive for complexity within their relationships with others and their environment!

I cannot stand the taste of ranch. I get disappointed when I see people eat pizza, salad or potatoes with ranch. I like zesty and tangy flavors, but in my opinion ranch is too much to that level that it makes me repulse it.

MechanicalArtist

I would respectively have to disagree- While I totally get how it's overwhelming for some folks, I just find it a rather good condiment to some already savory foods, I feel like some foods could really need that extra kick of zest/tanginess, if it's done right (instead of someone just completely dredging their foods in ranch like a madman)

------

I feel like characters with an irregular color/pattern gives them a nice bit of charm! (Eg. A brown dragon with some green hair that's nowhere else on the body)

Lily-The-Rockstar

I agree and disagree at the same time?? I think it depends on how it's used- But I agree more than I disagree so- I think people should just have fun with their character designs! -someone who's OCs in 5th grade were literally just just bland women with no personality and nuetral colors bc of the mary sue debate that was going on in the art community at the time

Any type of flavored mountain dew other than the original flavor tastes gross- like chemicals, almost- Yes, including bahja blast

Local_Goomse

Heavily agree. I kind of stopped drinking it altogether a bit ago because of how much it just felt... off.

Ketchup chips? Has anyone here ever had ketchup flavoured chips? They are addictive, and if you haven't had them you can just make an assumption.
