So this game functions similar as most of "expectation vs reality" forum games, this time it is focused on the character's music tastes. What do you think the character's playlists are without looking their profiles, based in their profile pic. Then after writing expectations, you take a peek on their playlist (either a link below your post or in their profile), what are your realizations.

Expectation: I’m gonna say some classical and music with a lot of instruments, but also very dark and dramatic. Like lots of trumpet, big vocals, brass, violin etc.
Reality: Well I was wrong but i think i got the dark sound correct. very cool oc and music! it def fits their vibe even if it’s not what i thought
Expectation: I'm wanting to say that Lanolin would be an alt rock sort of person with a taste for bands like Linkin Park and Imagine Dragons. Perhaps a bit of Epic/Movie Score music.
Reality: xD I was way off. Lanolin seems to listen to a lot of classical/tradional/folksy types of tunes. Where I imagined him to have a bit of a softcore emo taste in music he seems to have a taste for more elegant styles.

Reality: Mostly some chill and pretty stuff, but there was some stuff at the end that took me by surprise, like set it off lol

Expectation: honestly a lot of bubbly bright sounding stuff, y’know? My first thought was chiptune
Reality: boy was I off, it was very electronic sounding in quite a few of the songs so I was sorta right? A lot of it is was a lot more melancholy sounding than I had anticipated. I mean it’s a very fitting playlist but still definitely not what I was expecting.

Expectation: Dark Cabaret and Dark Bluegrass. Basically something with a rustic cowboy vibe. Country music but with a southern gothic twist. Perhaps a bit of older rock 'n roll (like 60's & 70's rock).
Reality: Queen, Dead Kennedys, Dresdan Dolls, and Wall Of Voodoo very much fit the bill of what I was expecting. But bands like Nirvanna and Chevelle were a bit of a surprise imo. But other than that, it was pretty spot on.
expectation (Hype): I'm gonna go ahead and guess Ghost, Misfits, Danzig, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Sonic Youth, The Cure, Current Joys, and Crystal Castles just a generally 'goth' or sad vibe + some punk

Sheena's Playlist
Sheena is essentially my music taste so it's a little all over the place haha
Expectation: I'm wanting to say psychedelic music be it rap, rock, or edm. Maybe it's all of those so long as it's trippy. I think that Sheena would be into 60's and 70's era music like Janis Joplin, Beetles, Jimi Hendrix, ect. Maybe people like Bruce Springsteen & Buffy Sainte-Marie too? I could also see Sheena perhaps getting into even a bit of new age, wicca music. In terms of modern music maybe stuff like Mt. Joy?
Reality: Modest Mouse is about on par with what I was thinking for Sheena. The Ramones & Misfits threw me off a bit lol, I didn't expect punk music! Built To Spill also captures the vibes I imagined. But over all, much more punk and a lot less psychedelic/hippie than I was imagining. I also feel as though there were a lot more down tempo/melancholy songs than I anticipated.

Expectation: I imagine opera or broadway. Maybe music with French or Russian origins/lyrics.
Reality: I imagined dark themed music, but pleasantly surprised that I hear rock. 😁 "The Swan" does give me opera vibes though! 😃

Expectation: Based on his bio I'm gonna guess he has a lot of gothic rock type songs. Grungy but powerful sorta playlist, since he was once weak but is now strong.
Reality: I'd say I was correct!! Some of them stick out to me, like Centuries, but it still applies to the rock label (and also was a suggestion from someone else, so I guess it makes sense to be a little different vibe-wise). Regardless, I think they all fit!

Expectation: From his profile picture she looks maybe like a medieval fantasy / DND character? I could see him going for songs like Dear Fellow Traveller or Soldier, Poet King potentially. She also looks pretty stressed, so maybe some moody pop-adjecent vibes with MCR or Mother Mother potentially! Nothing too slow though, definitely songs that are mid to high tempo, with some fairly popular artists.
Reality: I was right on keeping things up-tempo, although I don't know most of the artists! All of these songs are new to me too :) I think I was right with the moodier pop vibes though, Lemon Demon definitely can fit into that, and The Distance by Cake has a similar tone. I wasn't right about the more classic 'dnd character' songs, but its cool to see him have some really unique entries in her playlist!

Expectation: From looking at the icon, their music taste could be EDM, techno, new wave, dubstep, or maybe some synthwave music. Thinking Daft Punk, Marshmallow, Skrillex, or any electronic vibes. Most songs contain upbeat, fast, bright, and has a punch on it?
Going to the bio, it's possible their playlist contain intense songs based on the setting they're in. Their world does have a conflict going on so putting intense electronic songs might make sense. Not really dark electronic music but gives "motivation" or "hype up" vibes on it?
Reality: OK, there's less electronic music but more on pop rock, pop, and probably alt rock like Skillet. It still upbeat and bright however, though, the speed is mixed between slower songs and faster ones. I'm quite right about there are certain songs that gives a "punch" like Skillet's Monster. There are few that gives intense and hyped up ones from the songs, so I was right about having such. Despite the bright tunes, I didn't expect some songs that contain lyrics with anger on it.

Expectation: Gregorio's look is giving me some 90's grunge/Nirvana vibes. Perhaps with a good dash of garage band--and I'm talking that super obscure underground stuff that you pretty much have to discover via word of the mouth or because you know a guy who knows a guy who is in that band. But given that he's a vampire, I'm wanting to say that there might be some more gothic style stuff in there; I'm wanting to say Symphonic Gothic Metal or just plain Symphonic Metal. Bands like Penumbra, Draconia, Meden Agan, and Imperia.
Reality: Okay so no grunge at all xD I was totally off on that one. But there was a lot of gothic style stuff. Madre Del Vizio in particular is probably most on par with what I had imagined for him (great song by the way, added that one to my own playlist)! Although I was pretty off base, I can see literally all of these songs working very well for Gregorio.
