I *absolutely* get a goth vibe and aesthetic from Mercy! But also some jock vibes because of his egotistical nature, the need for power and control, and just how easily he can influence other people!

Her interest in rock/metal/grunge music and late night habits, along with her easygoing air makes her seem 'goth' subjectively? This is not accounting appearance, which seems to have a punk direction.
I get more nerd vibes due to her interest in literature, art, and architecture but also has goth side because of her having morbid interest. Also writing melancholic poetry and having goth academia aesthetic may also add the goth points.
