Gentle reminder that you DO NOT need to bump this thread by posting "bumps" too often... If you want to bump, just use the bump button, this isn't market forum.
Update: NotDamien posted a good advice about how to properly watermark your arts. Please check it out before asking about your own watermark in case nobody can answer you promptly.
- Another guide to take down your stolen art without sending phone number/address. Another suggestion is to write Cease & Desist Letter which will take down the stolen NFT rather swiftly.
- If you have twitter, it is best to follow updates from @ nfttheft as it's an account dedicated for it.
As you may already know cryptocurrency, especially NFT (non fungible token) is currently rising. Which also brings another issue of art thefts. Many of the accounts stole art and sold them as NFT. This is one of them: link
.
These thieves mostly took arts from deviantart and recently reached toyhouse, even complete with the watermark. So I suggest everyone to do any options below:
- Properly, uglily, watermark your arts and adopts.
- If you don't like the idea, then make them authorized only. Although this one has a flaw (?) if someone browses through an artist's art page, the arts from hidden galleries are still shown unless you set each tab as private.
- So, the best choice is to thumbnail only your art plus making the thumb watermarked.
Unfortunately if your art/adopt are found on OpenSea site, it will be difficult to issue a report as they have been actively "supporting" theft and making reporting more difficult with little to no response. Below are some useful links to report or takedown arts stolen as NFT.

Reminder that it is best to NOT report through DMCA since you need to fill personal information that can be used to doxx you by the thieves.
I probably will not actively update this thread with more theft issues found, as I only wanted to inform everyone to be careful. However, if anyone wants to keep updating more thief accounts to report then please do so in the replies. I appreciate every update about new ways to report as well. Hope none of you will be a victim, stay vigilant.
