Hello there! I thought it would be nice to share the finished commissions I've gotten in 2023 and the artists who've made them. This post may also carry light-hearted and goofy speech patterns if I get carried away with how much I like something-- haha! Just a note!

Everything here will either be neutral or positive! If I don't have anything good to say I probably won't post about the commission in general. I'll also try to only post reviews for artists who are on Toyhouse or have a Toyhouse account! ^^

Apologies if any artists' commission info have since changed. I am noting down the information as it was during my time of commissioning them. Wait time is also not really a problem for me, and I'll be sharing the timeframe I received the commissions versus the ETA specified by the artist. All of that info should be listed in the links shared. I will also only be including the method/application I used to pay for each commission, rather than every option the artist takes payment through.

"rises the moon" is a bit of a complex/unusual character, and even with bringing this up, berry_ribbon was okay to take her on, and I happily paid the complexity fee of $3 at the time! (I see that the artist has uped their price for these chibis since I'm ordered from them, and would like to say that even so, I'd still be glad to commission them again regardless.)

berry_ribbon shared multiple WIPS for design clarification at each stage, they are very communicative and friendly, and having been the first artist I've commissioned since coming back to Toyhouse, I had a wonderful time with them. I also received the chibi the day after I put my order in. The experience took a lot of my anxiety as a commissioner away, and I look forward to commissioning them again in the future!

I love how the chibi came out, and it definitely satiated my hunger for art of my newly character at the time. I definitely recommend commissioning them, as they themselves are so kind, and their art is wonderful!

Vertebrae's skin is white and he wears black facepaint in the style of a skull. The markings can vary, so I'm A-OK with the fact that the artist decided not to include them. After inquiring for the commission, I received written confirmation for it, and then received a still image of the gif on the same day, and of course received the whole gif after I sent the payment over! Overall I love the gif and still image itself as well as the little bits of flair on the drawing (speech bubble with the skull and other blue and white markings)!

I did not really have any proper refs for Kaede, only a pixel pagedoll and a couple of drawings I had made some years ago- the rest of his artwork being of his outdated design. Regardless, that seems to pose no problem for the artist! I was also unsure of commissioning art of Epsilon, since chuupew's TOS stated they wouldn't draw armor, and Epsilon has some sharp/armor/mechanical parts to her, so I gave chuupew a backup character to draw just in case, but in the end, they did indeed draw Epsilon, and I love how both pieces came out!

I received the art of Kaede about 29 days after my commission was accepted, and then received Epsilon's art 2 days after Kaede's. I was given a link to my spot in their Trello queue, and though I had other commissions and trades above my commission spot, it was no trouble for me to wait at all!

The commissions chuupew offered were for emergency vet care for an unwell kitten they found. I was happy to help alongside others, and they reached their monetary goal for the care!
