oh boy... turns out i bought one of his adopt designs from his new account for $10 a few months ago and i'm not sure what to do now... should i delete the character ? should i ask for a refund ?

In 2022, Miles was called out for a number of things when people who were getting frustrated with his behavior or were recovering from his abuse realized that he was causing problems to the groups that he would reside in, hurting more and more people.
Instead of owning up to his actions, he continues to double down, running away and hiding under new names. Akashumi was found by someone unintentionally, but noticed the artstyle was too familiar. This was how we found out his current Toyhouse, @AkaAlumni

multohhh Feel free to take this with a grain of salt as I don't adopt characters but I have seen situations like this. It is really up to you on what you want to do, since you bought the design without knowing about this PSA (I presume that is what you are saying) - You can delete it, keep it private, ask for a refund, have it redesigned so it isn't going to be solely art associated with the creator who made the design, really there is a lot you could possibly do and there is no "one size fits all" solution- It's up to you.

After some consideration I removed the one person from the thread because their comment contained false accusations about a different user.

Oof…I didn’t even know this person was bad and I bought a character from their current partner. Idk if their partner knows abt this or anything, but it still feels bad.
i would like to add that their current partner is not involved with this in any way and didn't know about who akaalumni really was. she is a victim as well and the misconception that she had something to do with this is unfair.
Thanks for this, I haven't heard from her and didn't wanna say anything out of worries she could be another victim. If she's reading this she is allowed to reach out to us.

Edit: but I do apologize for making it seem that way I hope nothing but the best as this is a very troubling situation for her I imagine
was personally involved with miles and his abusive behaviour,
and I sincerely hope he gets deplatformed or runs away again. seeing him back is nasty and a bad reminder and I hope that all the victims are doing okay and that people can stay safe.
