For context, this is not the only time this artist has had bewares made of them.

A search on their twitter and FA accounts show that other people are trying to hear from them to no avail.

See the above link for my correspondence with Aine.

I commissioned them back in May of 2023 on Twitter with what was supposed to be a commission that would be completed within a couple of hours/days. Soon after I commissioned them they had surgery and so I was patient, I understand health issues can interfere with their work flow. However after some time I had noticed that they had abandoned their Twitter account after I received no messages back from my inquiries on the progress.

After this I followed the artist to toyhouse, asking for updates. Our communication then moved to Discord. Frustrated, I expressed my irritation of the situation and she responded back saying that she 'wasn't scamming anyone' which immediately rose a red flag to me. Not once did I claim she was a scammer. However after another ignored message I gave up on receiving my art or money back. Boosty will not refund users and will ban accounts who ask and so Aine gets to walk away with me any other clients money without any repercussions. My messages get ignored and I have no idea when I will receive my art.

I highly encourage you to not commission this artist as they seem to have a history with this kind of scamming. Thank you for reading.

EDIT:

I previously posted my grievance's on Twitter, I have this linked below as well as there are some other complaints posted by other clients that are not shared here.

Confirming. A old friend commissioned this artist for me, last year on January 10th, for a YCH that costed 220 dollars. Couldn't possibly get a refund bc it was thru boosty.
Despite the comm being a gift, I was the one in charge of handling the process with Infinity, as my friend didn't know much about comming people - they just wanted to give me something nice as a late Christmas gift.

It took till VERY recently (I'd say about 3 days ago) to get the art I was owed. Communication was not often at all - very few messages between us, most of which were started by me. When people expressed annoyance with wait times and being thrown through so many different websites just to TRY and be in contact, some people shut them down, including Infinity. Here is screenshots of the discord server's main chat: https://ibb.co/album/qJm3T1 It also includes the announcement that is discussed a bit further into the main chats logs.

EDIT TO ADD: It was only when I asked for a refund LAST MONTH, in December, that I started getting progress wips.
But the final piece, the face was changed from the approved sketch, and it wasn't what I wanted nor did I request a change in the face.

Hello!

I bought a design from this artist for $80 (6516 rub), back in April with the addon of back piece and outfit included. I've poked them a few times but no progress has been made at all, at least none that's been shown to me. Message and proof. i have poked them again so I'll update when/if I get a response.

This user joined the 1500+ user discord server i run with a thriving art market, and basically treated it like a private commissions server-- not paying any attention to the rules about when they're allowed to bump/post, and becoming beligerent and rude when reminded of these rules. They act exceptionally entitled to moderator's time and to being allowed to constantly advertise these comms that they never deliver on, its very frustrating to deal with.

TLDR:

I also hired this artist, and I did get a high quality, completed artwork from them, but I want to express I had a lot of the same issues with them that others here have said during my process of commissioning them. What I found worked best was approaching them and setting a firm deadline, with an exact date, that I expected to get the art done by. They finished before the deadline.

Longer Version:

I commissioned this artist as well, and I want to say that I did get my finished art from them, but during the process I did experience some of the same difficulties that users have mentioned, as well as what is in other bewares.

I paid for this art sometime in June 2023, but I am not sure on the exact date as I don't remember their email I sent payment to, so I'm going off of file and Discord chat logs. Basically, in September I posted in a small discord art group, asking for advice and saying it had been three months (just past the PayPal closed window) and I hadn't heard anything from them at all. (I did not mention their name in said post or to the group I was asking advice from.) With further prompting from me, I was told by the artist for over a month "I will have the sketch for you tomorrow" multiple times. Sometimes communication was incredibly difficult, as well.

However, that the art did get completed. What worked for me with this seller was to approach them and set a firm deadline (with their consent/knowledge) on when I expected the art to be due. I gave them 6 weeks (after the initial wait of slightly over 4 months) to complete the artwork (the final due date would have been October 25th, 2023); I got it back on October 13th, 2023. I hope that information might be helpful to anyone else waiting for art from them.

I commissioned a friend for a custom design a while back, and since at the time they were close friends with Aine (they no longer are) they asked Aine for some help on it, which is fine with me. I don't mind friends helping friends even on paid work, I have my friends redline my comms sometimes! it's cool.

But I later became uncomfortable with some of Aine's behavior/beliefs and blocked them for my own comfort/safety quietly.

Aine responded to this by stealing the custom I had paid my friend for and reselling it for their own profit.

This design? It was mine. I did not break their TOS, it was not their TOS I agreed to, I never did business with them, I agreed to my friend's TOS, and Aine simply took it into their own hands to steal what I paid for because they didn't like that I blocked them. Again, I never did business with Aine, I had never even seen Aine's TOS, much less agreed to it, I never commissioned them, I never gave Aine money. They just decided they had the right to steal my concept work and sell it because they were mad I didn't want to interact with them.

If I had known Aine was this kind of person my friend would never have asked them for help, been friends with them, and I would never have consented to having Aine touch anything related to a design concept that was so important/dear to me and that I will now never get back.

Please note that while they say my friend also wanted to resell the design, he didn't, he came to me and apologized, refunded me, and cut ties with Aine after this happened.

Proof that I commissioned my FRIEND and not AINE and therefore was NEVER Beholden to Aine's TOS which I was never sent, agreed to, or did anything in regards to other than blocking them after getting some info that disturbed me:

Proof 1
Proof 2
Proof 3
Proof 4

If Aine wants to prove that I did business with them or agreed to their TOS in any way they are welcome to do so, but they can't, because I didn't, because I never even interacted with Aine outside of public servers and I certainly never sent them a penny of money.

I'm so bitter about this person.

I was the lone bidder on a Pride YCH on their first FA account and won by default. I asked for the drawing to be sketched and coloured with two different versions with the flag changed rather than a full render, and they said they could do it. This was almost 4 years ago (July 6, 2020). Multiple times, I was promised WIPs that I never got. I've contacted them on FA multiple times with plenty of time in-between and even hit them up on Discord. They used the excuse of not having access to their old account and thus all their old commissioners information, which isn't relevant at this point because I messaged their new account already plus their have a WIPs journal they could've looked at. (I just found out today that they apparently do have access to that old account now because the YCH post I bought from is now deleted. They have a folder now for both Open and Closed YCHs, and mine isn't in either of them.) They'd finally said, in the same Discord conversation, that they'd draw it on stream if I swung by to watch. I told them that I'm too busy to sit around and watch their stream (neither did I want to anyway, I shouldn't have to babysit them for them to do a comm, and such a simple one at that) and that I just wanted the drawing done as-promised, because I've waited more than long enough for just a coloured sketch. (This conversation happened maybe two years ago.) Needless to say, they never did the drawing, and of course it's literally years too late to get a forced refund from PayPal.

Found out today they've basically abandoned FA, an I'm not about to hunt down their Discord server. Just hoping I can access our old Discord chat to have a record. I sent them a new Discord friend request in hopes of opening our old DM. I just want my bases covered in case I decide to ask again or something.

Edit: I re-opened the DM without them having to re-add me yet, but it's empty. I wonder if it's anything to do with unfriending or because of the new account naming system. Gee, well that sucks.

Just noticed that Aine was banned from Milqilins for scamming and ghosting. Figured I'd update this topic with this information.
