i have been offered a "refund" from a very kind member of staff in the server, however i still havent heard anything from taro yet (i've even dmed them on here directly with no response yet.) as of right now, they were last active on toyhouse 4 days and 17 hours ago
on february 6, 2024 i contacted taro/phos/phas (will be calling taro from now on) regarding a ych they posted in the discord server for the fountain tiger species. (screenshot of ad + my initial dms). they also said they would be taking randomly assigned free slots. (screenshot)
i sent the nitro ($10) as payment the next day once i was up and at my pc again (proof), which they then told me they would be starting asap. at this point, they'd already had multiple comms unfinished/spontaneously cancelled with no refund that i did not know about.
a few days later, on my birthday, i dmed them asking how it was going. (screenshot) no update, other than a carnival in their city.
all the while, they were still advertising character trades/sales and adopt sales. (one, two, three, four)
on the 15th, they advertised in the server again, to which one of the staff replied and deleted the ad. (screenshots) they left 3 HOURS later, according to a member of staff. (first, second)
i contacted them again on the 19th, to which i got no response, so i bumped the dm a day later, and they offered to gift me a character (one that they said will not have been a freebie they received, which i then found out they did not check and did give me a freebie). (dm screenshots, character i received, ownership log) this is when i then contacted staff about the issues, and became aware of their track record with scamming/ghosting.
a week later, i dmed them again asking for an update, which they said i was supposed to be next in their queue, while blatantly ignoring my request to know when i could expect the finished pieces or at least a sketch. another week later, i dmed them again to find out they blocked me. (screenshots)
i'm not sure how many people were affected by them, but staff says theyve gotten multiple complaints from different people.

they've replied to my dms telling me they haven't blocked anyone (blatant lie again, since they had been dming me even after leaving the server just fine & blocked me when i kept asking for updates) and are now ghosting me on here as well

AND i have a warning and general message on my page about blocking Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss enjoyers (of which they clearly have Vox from HH as a folder icon and a character based character of and apparently they had/have a Helluva Boss image as their Discord icon in this post) so like. Thanks for reading my warning??? like no lol get blocked freak
im so sorry to hear about all the scamming though. i hope you guys got your art or were compensated by some actual means as opposed to... free characters... absolutely sleezy behavior
Syllecia frankly i'm not surprised that they ignored all warnings/signs not to offer or interact 💀 they don't strike me as the type to be very aware of what they're doing
i did thankfully get gifted a month of nitro from a staff member in the server i met them in, but i haven't gotten anything from taro/phasmo at all (other than a free character)
