Lapexe are an open species, meaning anyone can make one — you don't need to ask!
They're more like oceanic dragons, coming from the ocean, but they can rise up from the ocean and use jellyfish to breathe!
You can make them look anything you want, there's pretty much no rules aside from them being recognizably a lapexe (jellyfish or something similar to keep them breathing, rather amphibian in nature, small "wings" and a tail that can allow creatures to pass through and live in), and you can even make a lapexe crossbreed with any other species (as long as the other species owner allows this, obviously)
You can make them bioluminescent, have multiple eyes, many patterns, have no eyes, multiple tails, longer wings, etc — no trait is unreachable. You can put them anywhere, in any story, roleplay, etc.
I might make adoptables or something of them, so keep on the lookout!

2. Jadejolt - angler fish with either no eyes or eyes that are clearly blind (like white irises) and large wings/tail with sharp teeth
3. Starry-Soulz - oarfish !! :O Maybe for some traits an extra-long tail and a few scars on em would b cool !!

Hey, i'll be making free lapexes for the next 6 or so people that want one. You can tell me if you want any specific elements in a design, or if you want a completely random design :D
If this design is too complicated I can actually give you art in payment if that's worth anything!
Basic: I'm really obsessed with glowing designs but lately I've been falling head over heels for characters with certain disabilities. That might make it pretty obvious what I want!
I want a Lapexe with glowing bioluminescent stripes that might look like a skeleton or spots even! Sometimes of the same vibes at these images!
For example the jellyfish they use might look like this: (Where the tips of the jellyfish tentacles end in a bright glowing bulb?)
While the main body pattern looks like this: (Bc it looks like ribs and a spine and i love that vibe. spooky scary skeletons!)
I definitely know i want it to be completely blind, I'll leave it up to you if you want to give it eyes or not. I'd prefer it to have no eyes but having eyes that are cloudy is cute too!
Can you also give it three whiskers on each side that will be similar to the gills on an axolotl? :0 they're very cute and i'd love that!
In regards to color, i definitely sway towards blue, but if you think any other colors might help it stand out (yellow, green, purple) then feel free to add it!
I'm trying to give you some wiggle room to customize this while giving a fair amount of preference!
I've had my eyes on this species ever since it had been posted here but I never made a reply, I'm just so excited since it's so rare to find a custom species with little to no character design limitations! That's something that is right up my ally and i want to support creators that provide that option!
