Hi everyone! I'm currently working on an evolving species called Moonbeyms. A lot of you probably know what an evolving species is but for those don't, it's a species where people can draw and write in order to earn traits to evolve their character. Every Moonbeym has either a crescent, half moon, or full moon crest (Is there a fourth crest? Maybe!) on their forehead which is the outlet of their magic. Below is Yogurt, a Moonbeym baby and with some of the starter features that a Moonbeym begins with. *NEW* An example of the Baby Template with my Moonbeym, Racer.
The Moonbeym world is one I hope to have something for everyone. There will be magic, combat, crafting, and ways to discover new creatures, areas, plants, and hidden Secrets! (Secrets with a a big S, because players are able to find hidden Secrets that lead to grand and hidden things.) The best part is that Moonbeyms isn't just an evolving species but an evolving world. There will be lots of ways the players can have a lasting impact on the world. Plot and lore will also play a key part in Moonbeyms.
Moonbeyms have three life stages. Baby, Teen, and Adult. So you'll get to see your Moonbeym grow up!
I would love to hear people's feedback. I have a lot of features in the works and I'll be doing a beta launch once I feel most features are ready. Once launched, everyone will be able to make one baby Moonbeym for free. Is there anything you have questions about? Any features you would love to see? Do you think you would be interested in this? If so, I would be happy to add people to a ping list as well. Let me know!

Breshcandra - Yes! There will be wings as one of the trait upgrades you can earn and different wing types as well.

Wow! These are looking so cute!!! I noticed you have a ping list. Can I be put on it. Please.
Also are you going to have a base for those of us(me) who can't draw?

There is a base to get started for the myo template though we do require people to draw their Moonbeym in the blank space as well. It doesn't have to be perfect! A lot of this community is about trying to develop you art / writing so we promote people giving it a try even if its not the best. Almost everything else you have the ability to submit writing instead of art when doing things.
I did try to keep the starting design as simple as possible so people can draw their characters easily. I'll also see about drawing up a tutorial for people if they want too!
