What are Exofirs? They are a lab made species created to be incredibly adaptable to extreme environments due to environmental disaster on their home planet. They have substances that pump around their bodies through a series of pipes, this substance is primarily stored in their synthetic tails!

Due to environmental damage temperatures are increasing and sea levels are rising, making their planet uninhabitable to humans. Some humans want to stay behind and some want to escape to space, however they both agree their bodies need to change to accommodate for this.
So they set up a facility to create new life with traits that would help them adapt to these new environments, hoping to use this technology on humans in the future and alter their genes.
The first attempts at this went… poorly, creating the Exofirs now known as “Toxic”. They have traits that hinder their adaptability instead of helping them. They are the foundations biggest secret.
