What is an Esprit?
Firstly, Esprits and their sister species Haunters are a closed species created by Astronym. You cannot make your own without buying a myo slot. Only Astronym and Gravehaunter may sell adopts, customs, or auctions at this time.
Esprits are a type of fae crature that have a heavy association with the dead, easily possessed and in tune with the spirit world. Those who become a host go from a more feral disposition to a higher intelligence, their new personality based on what has possessed them.
Haunters, a sister species, is a type of fae that mimics Esprit fawnlings as a form of cuckoo children. Their intent is to use the resources of a court and sometimes even consuming members of the Esprit race. You can learn more about Esprit and Haunter lore at the weebly linked below.

I see that you're full up right now, but out of curiosity, would a custom based on a pre-existing design (with free interpretation) count as a custom or semi-custom?

Waltz Would probably depend on the complexity of the design and how well it translated to be an Esprit? It's a unique situation so it varies. If you want I'll put you on the waiting list and contact you when a slot becomes available!!

HeartlessSpade Currently I am the only one making them as Astronym has stepped away from adopts. The bases do not come with the myo slot, the bases are for me to make customs for you if you buy from me.
Myo slots are open for you to design with no base. Kind and queen are $50 flat rate, Grace are $25. Each rare trait is $5 each. Please email Astronym to buy your slot and then send them to her for approval.
