Deckians, Chessers, and Roundios - Discussion+

Well. Here we are.

Basic summary of the species:

Deckians - Beings who are born under the sign of a card (ex. 2 of Spades), and are stuck with that sign for their lives. Non-royals are almost always randomized based on their parentage. However, royals are always Aces, Jacks, Kings, or Queens. Once an Ace or Jack becomes a King of Queen, the sign of the Ace or Jack that became one is now open. One could also abandon their former sign through marriage. See characters such as The Aces in my Four Houses folder (Note: the weird head shapes are due to hats. They wear hats. Not all Deckians, but the Royals tend to.)

Chessers - A species who makes their home in the Boardlands. The Chessers are all chess pieces, but as humanoids. They tend to have aspects of their color, or of their class/piece type. There are some exceptions to this, for example, my To-Be-Made character, The Silver Girl. Born as an illegitimate child to the current royals, her spirit never rested after death, and she haunts the Clocktowers.

Roundios - These guys are basically the pets of the world. A quadroped species that walks really low to the ground, and can keep walking if flipped due to its joints.
