~The New Unfilled Claims Thread~ [New Mod]

Hello! I was given permission by AngelOShadows to take over the new unfilled claims spreadsheet. All the writing below is the same as the original thread.

If it's urgent, please PM me.

Since there are so many threads floating around, it's not surprising that there's a lot of claims that go unfilled. This thread was made for the purpose of filling those unfilled claims!

NEW Rule: If you don't list the claim date in number format (Example MM/DD/YYYY) you will be skipped.
You will not be added if you, yourself, haven't filled the claim you yourself have
You will not be added if you are known not to fill claims
You will not be added if the claim hasn't reached its overdue date. Please wait at least 2 weeks past the original thread's due date before using this thread.
• 24-hour threads, if the account has been closed, or if you've been skipped over are the exceptions to this.
This thread is only for unfilled claims, not dead threads. You will not be added if you weren't claimed and were the last poster in that thread.
If you're volunteering art, please try to take a maximum of 2 weeks to fill the claim. If you believe you will take longer than that, mention it somewhere, if you don't I will remove you from the Already Claimed section of the spreadsheet.
Do not take more than 3 claims at a time
Do not make multiple posts one after another for either filling claims or for filing for unfilled claims. Post them in either 1 large post, edit your original post and PM the claimee, or wait for other people to post between you.
New Rule: If you see see a comment posed by me in the thread you can assume all previous comments have been checked and added to the spreadsheet. Do not edit older comments pass my comment as I won't see the edits to add them into the spreadsheet.
New Rule: When when posting a claim to add to the sheet make sure the link you add is to the unfilled claim and not just the top of the thread. (to do this click on the little link icon on your post to the the link that goes directly to your claim on the page) This is to help volunteers and myself know what claim it is in the case of the username changes and also makes things easier for volunteers to find the claim they're filling.
If the claim was filled improperly, please PM me regarding the situation & we will decide from there if I will add you or not!
• This is to prevent people from trying to double up on art from a single claim.

If at any time you feel that I have stopped moderating the thread, and I am not responding to PMs, you are more than welcome to remake this thread. As of right now I am not looking for volunteers, but that will most likely change in the future.

I'm honestly not sure what to do to prevent another double filled claim again. Mainly what happened was an older comment that I had already checked and added to the thread got edited with a new claim and I missed it. When I go though claims I delete the notifications from my inbox to keep track if where I'm at, and I don't always go back and look at older comments.

The only thing I can think of doing is getting rid of the edit your comment with a new claim rule but at that point that would cause a new problem, spam. The other thing I could add in is if you see the comment by me in general or a "Everything is up to date" you know every comment before this point has been checked and won't be looked at again. Or maybe if I comment in here even if it's not relevant to the reply I'll add in a "everything is up to date" so people know not to edit older comments.

I'm not really sure. I've been trying to think of something to do to make sure that doesn't happen again but haven't landed on anything. For the time being I'll add in a new rule for if you see a comment by me in the chat you can assume all comments before that point have been checked so don't edit them. and I'll try to remember to add in "Everything is up to date" to my comments in here from now on so it's even more clear in case people don't read that rule.

FluffyFoxOfFate Usually I check everything after the last time you commented "Everything is up to date", but for the mfxdraws claim I saw you commented on the thread (not the Everything is up to date one) and made the mistake of presuming you had updated everything I think so that's my bad
I did notice another double claim, this one and this, I think because the claim might've been accidentally added twice the sheet? Or forgot to remove from the waiting list when moving over to the filled claims list

I'm glad you think so! ^^ I'll keep this new rule and if something else comes up where claims are being filled double again I'll try and think of something else.
And yeah, the spam rule was there before I took over. I assumed it was there due to there being a spam problem in the last thread so I didn't want to remove it if that was the case.

Oh it's okay, I wasn't saying "everything up to date" in a lot of my comments recently so it wasn't clear tbh. ^^' That's something I'm for sure going to work on remembering doing.

Ah... I'm sorry that happened twice. x.x I'll keep an eye out to make sure I don't add a claim on there twice and to try and move claims to the being filled section more often.
