Whats a Haiku Poem?
A Haiku is a Japanese poem which can also be known as a Hokku. A Haiku poem is similar to a Tanka but has fewer lines.
A Haiku is a type of poetry that can be written on many themes, from love to nature.
What is the Structure of a Haiku Poem?
A Haiku consists of 3 lines and 17 syllables.
Each line has a set number of syllables see below:
Line 1 – 5 syllables
Line 2 – 7 syllables
Line 3 – 5 syllables

Lots of Colors through the year.

How do i make a character based off one?
Here some questions you could ask yourself if you need help :))
who would say this?
Who would write this down in a journal?
Who would think about this?
Who would talk like this?
Is this being written down about the person?
If you were to research a creature- would you find this in a book?
Is this a spell? Belonging to a witch?
Still not helping?
Well, what does the poem talk about?
Does it mention a feeling? A color? A place- or even a time? An animal or object?
Try basing your character off those things!
There is no right or wrong designs!

you don't have to be too strict about the Syllable rule, The largest poem you can have is a Tanka Poem. You can fall short slightly but please try not to include more than 31 syllables total.
PLEASE finish art within a month! knees up is okay, BUT fullbody is preferred!
