Introduction

"The Beyond Project is an amalgamation of ideas from many different people. It's stories are usually pretty stand-alone, yet are linked to all else through a shared multiverse and an immense amount of connections in the form of characters, settings, plot points, and events. It a big 'ol mess, and I love it! A constant work in progress, a hopeful dream, and it's gradually going along." -Myota

"It's less of a "world" and more of a collection of interlaced multiverses . The overarching stories, while still having smaller focuses, tell the tale of three universes, some more ill-fated than others, and how existence within them plays out.

A major theme across all the entire story is that of there always being something beyond the current scope of the perspective; just beyond the main character's story arc may very well be the equally as interesting adventure of what was a mere background character, or one story arcs present can act as the foundation for a myth spoken of through casual conversation in the far future. In a single word, this multiverse is sonder- sonder being a french [I think] word for the realization that everyone else is just a background character in your personal story, while you are also one in theirs.

The other main theme is that of perspective; very little in this world is perfectly black or white, especially with the more notable protagonists and antagonists. Two characters may have ideas on how to "fix" society. Both "solutions" would result in widespread panic, in bloodshed, but in the end, humanity would grow stronger, wiser, and more well united. History determines the hero, but also the villain; all that really matters in the end is who failed and who succeeded." -Myota again.

Uh, stuff and things.

The Crew

Myota: I'm just sorta doing what I've always done; just bigger and better and more complicated and with more people. So, maybe things have changed a little.
