I wish I could help, maybe try finding a homeless shelter near you? $45 is kinda cheap for motels, but still a bit expensive especially if you have to pay for food too.
Hi, my name is Link and my family and I (father and younger sibling) have been homeless for two years and a half now (since November 2021). It's a long story but in short, my father fell into a diabetic coma and lost his job, leaving him without a home since he mainly lived in his truck. My sibling and I were also being forced to leave our homes, so it was a very sad coincidence 🥲 my friend, who's home I had to leave due to family issues, drove us to the nearest motel and I've been doing commissions to support us ever since. Here's a couple pics of the room/a recent receipt we usually get when we pay for the room for proof since I know it's a lot to just go off of word :
We're living day by day with the commissions I and my sibling receive and recently, work has been very scarce. Most days, like today, we're staying up all night and afternoon to pay for our room that we're trying to stay in and we barely have any food for the week. I'm hoping to get enough to pay for at least today and something to eat for tonight.
We don't have any family support (each side of the family has refused to help) and no friend support from any of us, so we've been doing things ourselves from the start. We'd really appreciate any kind of help we could get, especially with the way things are going right now. I'll be putting my prices and contact info below if anyone is interested. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for sharing this or any help you give us if we do, it really means a lot to us.
My turnaround time per commission is up to two to four weeks for smaller commissions and up to a month or two for bigger commissions (such as group comms, couples comms or paintings) since I'm usually busy with starting/finishing other commissions because I have to take on a lot at once to maintain our living situation. If you ever need an immediate update aside from my normal updates between stages, please let me know! As for payment, it will be made upfront with no refunds since we need to use them right away either for the room or food and don't have the extra funds to repay in case someone would want a fund.

Hey, could I get a headshot of Giuseppe ? If he's too complex I can choose someone else!
mixmast3r I would, but the only homeless shelter where we are is all full (due to the holidays i suppose) so this is our only option. The price is actually alot cheaper than the motels we were in before then.
