Skyfall

When Chili comes to his senses, he's back at the Academy, surrounded with many other lons - who stand in various states of Corruption.

He has no idea who had been able to carry the whole expedition back to the Academy. Maybe they had come here themselves, moving in a frenzy, taken by the tide of the Corruption.

It hurts. He thinks with a wince. The danger seems to be gone, for now - and, as the vespire looks around, he spots Auster, who breathes heavily and sits with his hooves tucked away under his belly. Chili analizes the room once again, and sees Rose drinking a concoction from a bottle. He approaches her, his legs moving unstably from under him. 

"What ḫ̸̆ā̴͕p̵̘̒p̶͎͊e̶̥͝n̵̝͝ë̶̪d̷͕̏?" He asks, his voice cutting through the air with an ugly static. 

When the other vespire finishes gulping down the potion, she breathes with relief. "I'm not sure mys̴e̷l̶f̶." She responds, shaking her head. Chili's about to answer, when she sits down in a moment, letting out a sigh. The red vespire watches in awe as the Corruption slowly seeps away from her body, as if cleansed by an imaginary hose. The seconds pass, and in just a minute, Rose feels like herself again. 

"The potion Amaryllis. works wonders." She smiles. "You should get one yourself." Rose points with one of her hands at the sleepy pouflon, who snoozes next to a pile of small bottles, seemingly prepared to aid the knights in healing the Corruption from themselves. The vespire nods, without words, and wobbles to the small line formed by lons that have already woken up from their sleep. 

The expedition had taken a toll on all of them - be it the newest knight or the most experienced. At least, though, they can count on all sorts of Healers to aid in their recuperation. 

As the liquid works its way into Chili's body, he feels as if an enormous burden is being lifted from him. The sensation is heavenly - he just hopes everyone who's been affected can be healed in time.
