Story

Death manifested to life, Mrithrun is the embodiment of something truly nightmarish. The form of a god, his origins are unknown. But, it is suspected his creation catalyzed amidst the hue of the sanguine moon; and from this light it absorbed into his soul, staining his coat in the emblematic red, and garnishing his eyes to be akin to the light that radiated the night he was born. An intolerant entity, he was gifted two messengers from the gods to help with his remiss complex. Little by little, they dwindled his time alone, and last nerve, to a point he tolerates them, most of the time. Others, however, not so much.

Strung up on his godly throne, Mrithrun sees mortals as pests to be squashed and will often not fraternize himself with them unless it is to strip them of their souls. This arrogant outlook on life has needlessly left him with his only two messengers as his friends if one could call them that. More often than not he just lets them linger around him so the gods will not bother him with pesky mutts like them again who only like to nag and goof. And, it does seem to keep mortals, (and plenty of others) away from making friends with him if they see he already has some. Perhaps, it could be fear that draws them away as well.

Condescending, and a quite foolish god, it’s a wonder he hasn’t been banished yet from this realm they call earth he’s been bound eternally upon; forced to reap about the souls of the dying and fulfill his duties as a godly entity when certainly he’s just a child. Immature, and throws a tantrum when the gods scold him, or he has to do actual work. This eldritch creation birthed under the glow of the blood moon, fortified with the power to bring forth death and destruction on a soul. . and yet all he’d like to do is get a good night sleep for once without being awoken by his messenger loons.
