Scene Sunday #40
The family is out picking pumpkins to decorate the house, and Sigil stumbles upon the perfect one.
"Honey, that pumpkin is bigger than you!"
Sigil hugged her pumpkin of choice tighter, staring up at her dads pleadingly. "This one!"
The two older skeletons exchanged a glance and a chuckle. Blue Jeans made a placating gesture. "What's the harm? I'm sure she'll have a lot of fun carving it."
Sigil nodded enthusiastically, patting the top of the pumpkin. Her pumpkin. It seemed to take forever before S sighed, giving in.
"Alright, I'll go find someone to carry it then because there's no way you're getting it out of here on your own."
As S walked back the direction they'd come from, Blue came closer to examine the pumpkin, smiling down at her as he knelt down.
"So, got some grand plan for this giant thing?"
Sigil beamed at him, a vivid image unfolding in her mind as she examined the front of the pumpkin again. It was mostly smooth, which was perfect for her idea...
