The daughter of an earth dragoness, of the plant aspect, anda fire dragon, of the flame aspect, Braciaca is a hybrid of both but takesafter her mother as her main element is earth. While she has the Earth Aspect (as in tectonics, grabbing chunks of earth) she also has the plant aspect (crops, wheat, bushes) and is a dual aspect user. Her parents are both farmersand live on the earth planet Gaia, however, he grandfather was a famed Eoagiansoldier who was eventually elevated to train beside the Lumerian forces throughthe Lumerian Allied Program. Enticed by the stories of his legacy, which hergrandmother would tell her, Braciaca became enticed by the idea of being asoldier. Her parents were against it, fearing more for Braciaca's life than hatingthe idea, and told her that she was safer continuing the family legacy on thefarm. Begrudgingly, Braciaca followed their wishes for many years after; untilshe reached her late teenage years. Her grandmother could see how restlessBraciaca was becoming, the older she got the more bored she became with herlifestyle; the idea of remaining on the limited acreage of a farm was not whatshe wanted. The tales of her grandfather's travels, the cities he saw, thecreatures he met, the battles he won and the lives he saved fascinated thedragoness; fueling her desire for adventure and her desire to help. After all, what if she became a warrior like her father; one who saved lives. Wouldn'tstaying on this bland farm prevent her from saving those lives, would creaturesdie if she didn't pursue this call of destiny?

Eventually, tired of seeing her granddaughter miserable, Braciaca's grandmotherdecided to train her in secret, to which the adolescent happily agreed. For thenext several years she trained as hard as she could and progressively gotstronger and stronger, her physical fitness was incredible and her elementalabilities, which had only been used to grow crops in the past, were now readyfor war. Her parents even noticed the changes, as Braciaca could pull plowsfaster and more efficiently and her magic resulted in greater crop yields, andassumed she was finally getting into the farming business. However, when thedragoness requested she be allowed to join the military her parents were livid, realizing their daughter had been training for that instead of farming, andforbid her from doing so. Braciaca argued with her parents telling them thatthis is what she wanted more than anything, but her parents constantly retortedwith how much safer she was on the farm. Frustrated, the young dragonessretreated to her room to sulk.

The next few days were miserable for Braciaca, as she felt her dreams werefinished, and this misery was compounded when she travelled to the nearbyvillage and saw dragons gathering to cheer for those travelling to the trainstation. Those dragons were going to take the train to Eoagia, the capitol, andtrain to be soldiers and fighters in The Great War; and she would have joinedthem on their journey there. That night Braciaca wept for the future she hadlost and stayed in her room, that is, until a knock at her window caught herattention. Upon opening it the young dragon found her grandmother, carrying arucksack. At first Braciaca was disheartened, she didn't want to tell hergrandmother what had happened, but she was quickly ushered out the windowinstead. Her grandmother revealed to her that she knew what had transpired andwas here to give her a second chance at that goal. When asked how she would dothis Braciaca was hushed and led into the night where they flew for about anhour, landing at the city of Mayshore. Braciaca's grandmother quickly hurriedher to the nearest train station, handed her the rucksack, and purchased her aticket before guiding her to the platform. Confused and wanting answersBraciaca questioned her grandmother about what was going on, though she didn'tget the answer from her. The answer came with the humming of magnetic rails, and the sound of rushing footsteps behind her. A large, gold and white trainpulled into the light of the station while a couple dragons shuffled past hercarrying rucksacks of their own. Realization hit her like a brick, this was amilitary train of some kind, Braciaca turned to her grandmother with tears inher eyes and the elder gave her a quick hug before motioning for her to boardthe train and waving goodbye as it left.

The train was very lavish, the seats were plush and soft, the baggage railswere a brilliant gold, and the meals were unlike any she had eaten before.Braciaca lifted her head up at the sound of the train departing and the clickof the car doors opening. A large green dragon with black stripes and a direwolf with sandy brown fur stepped in and quickly grabbed a seat on the aisleopposite to her. The talked among themselves and rummaged in their rucksacksfor snacks until they reached the next station, where they immediately ran overto the windows on Braciaca's side.

"WOAH! So, this is Eoagia?! Look how big this place is!" The dragoncheered.

"Don't get so excited Verdant." The wolf laughed. "We are onlypicking up other recruits, it's not like any of us are going there."

Braciaca's heart leapt, this was her stop! Quickly she gathered her things andwas about to leave the train when the wolf grabbed her wing.

"Hey, where are you going? Did you get on the wrong train, because if youdid then you are definitely on the wrong train.”? She asked, then she noticedBraciaca's bags. "A rucksack? You obviously got on the right train so thenwhy are you leaving?"

"You mean this isn't the train to take recruits to Eoagia?" Braciacaasked, growing anxious as the last of those waiting boarded.

"Sweetheart this train doesn't let off here. This train takes you all theway to the BIG LEAGUES, all the way to Lumeria!" The wolf waved at thetrain map board which had changed to display a new route, with the destinationlabeled as "The City of Light".

Braciaca's jaw dropped, her grandmother hadn't just put her on an anyrecruitment train she had put her on THE recruitment train, the one many onlyever dreamed of boarding. Then a thought struck her, her grandmother wouldn'thave put on this train without reason. Many soldiers never made it this far orthey never wanted to get this far, Lumeria's military was always on the frontlines facing the demons. Death on the battle field was a higher possibilitythere then with any other nation, it was why Team Light, Lumeria's military, was THE BEST of THE BEST. They had to be if they wanted to live through thebattle. For her grandmother to put her on this train meant that she believedshe was ready for this, a destiny far greater than she had once fantasized. Theyoung dragon beamed as she heard the ding of the doors closing and the shutterof the train moving on. She found a new seat with the wolf and the dragon namedVerdant, wearing her brightest smile.
